TAMPA, FL -- A political debate on a Tampa television station ended abruptly when one guest hurled a chair at his opponent.

The fireworks happened during "The Bleeping Truth," which airs on a community affairs channel.

The debate paired republican Tony Katz and democrat Joe Redner. Katz hosts an internet talk show. Redner, a strip-club owner, is running for a seat on the county commission.

The two men were debating the Middle East crisis when the two started trading insults.

Katz stormed off set, grabbed a chair and threw it at Redner. The chair him him in the face. Redner doesn't plan to file charges.

Producers say the two have appeared on the show before without any problems.

hahahaha The video is hilarous! I will never ever talk crap about republicans in publican every again:O

It's a rather undignified way to act during a debate. I'm sure that it violates protocol in some fashion, and is rather disenchanting for people who are interested in listening to to issues being discussed by the two parties.

The guy deserved it for having a pony tail

Fear had nothing to do with it.

Silly pundit. That's how the riot at the Source Awards started.
