When suspension of disbelief just wont cut it?

You don't remember that time he was shipwrecked on an island and had to hone archery skills to survive?

any movie where they zoom into noisy security cam footage x1,000 and somehow not lose image resolution

you'd think filmmakers would know more than anyone thats impossible.

Lets not forget the '3d' spin-around security footage from Enemy Of The State. How the hell can a camera see whats on the other side of something?

I felt the 2 boats with explosives scene in TDK was unbelievable. Perhaps it is my lack of faith in humanity. But those people on the non-prisoner boat would have lit those prisoners up like a candle in a heart beat.
this and the fact that its a boat
people can jump off boats, boats are not airplanes

........"anyone attempts to get off the boats.....you all die."-Joker.

Explosions still kill if your only a few feet away. He said if anyone jumps off he'd kill everyone. And humans are unpredictable. But as I figured this thread has become what most seem to do in this forum anymore lol.

The one thing I've never understood about Superman Returns is the fact that Lois mentions how warm Superman is but never pays attention to Clark being warm. To me it just seems like they make it a point to make you think that SM is warmer than a normal person. But at the same time wouldn't Lois ever feel the same warmth from Clark.

And in AVP:R how does no one pay attention to the Predator ship blowing up? Or the ship crashing for that matter?

I the Dark Knight where Rachel and Batman fall off the roof of the skyscraper and land on a car un hurt!
I was about to say the same applying to Eraser when Arnold falls from the airplane with nothing but a flimsy parachute and he walks away unscathed.

Transporter 2 - the whole crane clipping the bomb off the Audi. :whatever:

Transformers - pretty much how Sam and Mikaela never got broken bones whenever a TF grabbed them or landed on them.

She was hugging Superman when she said this, not once during the movie did she hug Clark, simple one that.

When I saw that scene in the theater, every person either groaned or said "Are you serious?" The guy in front turned around and said "Man, he's that damn good." I was like "Yep, tell me about it."

The Tunnel scene and jetfighter scene in Live Free or Die Hard.

The explosion+heat being held off by pure air in Independence Day (with Jasmine, kid and the dog). Awesome moment (made my theater clap when it happened), but in retrospect, is totally stupid.

Indy 4: Hiding in a fridge from a nuclear blast.

Wolverine: A lot of things, but the entire motorcycle scene, and the Gambit fight got me the most.

TDK: The entire movie had me rolling my eyes.

B89: Joker shooting down the Batwing with one shot of a pistol. Batman has the insight to bulletproof the Batmobile, but not his plane?

Scarface: The comical amount of cocaine he was sniffing at the end of the movie.

I guess they just wanted to drive home how little Lois thinks of Clark, which is pretty much the stereotype that most people have of those characters (the average person probably doesn't even know they've been married since the late 90s).

Here's one I've always wondered about - the end of the first Die Hard, after all that abuse John McClane took, including getting shot in the shoulder & his foot getting torn up with glass, just rides home with his wife in the rented limo when by all rights he should have gone to the hospital. Hell, he should have been carried out on a stretcher after surviving all that insanity inside the building.

Any hacking sequence in a film.

As a computer prog, I agree, with the huge exception (ironically enough) of The Matrix Revolution, which has Trinity using an actual 'sploit (Nmap) and a known and true SSH weakness to hack into the powerplant's computers:

^ I think that's the one and only time hacking has been done properly in the movies, unless it happened in a movie I haven't seen. I tend to remember these things (and usually groan at most of them).

EDIT: I was wrong. Very wrong. Apparently, Nmap has been used in at least two other very recognizable movies: http://nmap.org/movies.html - I guess I noticed Trinity's hack more, because it was so widely publicized among tech geeks back then, and I took the sequences in Bourne Ultimatum and Die Hard 4 for granted.

Have a look at Hackers with a young Angelina ( with nude scene ) and despair.

PS : I added "nude scene" to sell you the movie because it is not very good.
