I can't suspend my disbelief on this one.The fusion accident made the movie verson of Dr. Octopus be able to withstand Spider-Man's blows.
In Attack of the Clones, at the battle against Dooku, Yoda walks in with a cane while limping...Then does all kinds of crazy flips...Then limps with cane again.![]()
I'm reminded of the Chinese magician in The Prestige...In Attack of the Clones, at the battle against Dooku, Yoda walks in with a cane while limping...Then does all kinds of crazy flips...Then limps with cane again.![]()
I agree that he Used The Force. Doesn't mean it wasn't a dumb idea.In Attack of the Clones, at the battle against Dooku, Yoda walks in with a cane while limping...Then does all kinds of crazy flips...Then limps with cane again.![]()
I'm reminded of the Chinese magician in The Prestige...
It happened back in the 70's....I might be one of the few here who actually read the story. It was one of those books that Marvel put out at the time....with titles like CREATURES ON THE LOOSE, FANTASTIC TALES, etc....where they guest starred different characters....the BEAST had his solo 6-10 issue run in it, and he was changed in the first issues he was in.
Oh ok, I don't think I ever read those issues, but now that you mentioned it, I might have to see if those are available.
Anyways, back on topic I don't think I've heard anyone mention Jason Stathams fall at the end of Crash, especially him talking on the cellphone as he was falling.
What's even worse is in Transporter 2 when he flips the vehicle to attach the bomb underneath to that construction hook or whatever it was.
You mean Crank, right?
Star Trek - Captain Kirk being to beat any alien in a hand to hand fight including the Gorn that is strong enough to pick a boulder and throw it at him!
Let's not even get started on Crank 2, I'll have to watch Transporter 2 again before I call out specific scenes from that film
One part that kills me near the end of Spider-Man 2 is when Spider-Man and Mary Jane swing away from that destroyed warehouse. With the angle of the shot and knowing where the warehouse was, what the hell did Spider-Man shoot his web on? It came off as kinda sloppy by Raimi.
When it came to the Crank films I had no problem suspending disbelief with most of it because the movies were basically real life video games.
With a film like Transporter 2 it's supposed to be a semi-serious action film. It's easier for me to face palm that movie than it is for the Crank films.
Exactly, the Crank films aren't meant to be taken seriously.Ipodman said:The Crank stuff felt more "over the top" because of the violence I guess... I think if the Transporter films were as violent, you would have been ok with the ridiculous stunts...
Like many of the critics who panned it,ya don't get it.
