So is anyone else convinced that Cena is winning Sunday and even worse that Sheamus will cash in and win?

I think Rollins is going home a double champion.

C'mon man, really? Even if Rollns beats Cena Sheamus is cashing in so he doesn't walk out with two titles. There's zero point in giving this build up of the U.S. title to the WWE Champion and nothing good comes from any finish of this match. Why is the WWE Champion potentially getting the rub of taking the U.S title? He's the WWE Champion. This match is stupid.

It's good to see Raw is moving in a fresh direction......

We'll see how long this fresh direction lasts. Supposedly Vince and Dunce have been focusing more on Tough Enough and less on the main shows. Let's see what happens when Tough Enough is over.

Sheamus being Champion is stupid obviously who the hell wants to see that guy as champion? NOBODY

I've heard one prediction that I like, which says Sheamus tries to cash in like Rollins did, and Rollins will pin him for the win, and since he didn't pin Cena, Cena retains his belt and Rollins retains his. That way Cena doesn't get the lost and still walks out champion.

I've also heard stuff like Cena winning, Sheamus cashing in and winning, only for Cena to win it again and break Flair's record. Or Sheamus cashing in, winning, only for Reign to take it off him, leading fans to be forced to cheer for Reigns since no one likes Sheamus.

Rollns being handled so badly that he's the guy hypothetically getting a boost by taking Cena's U.S. title as the guy holding the major title. Cena possibly winning his 16th title, and Sheamus possibly winning the title despite no one being given a reason to care. This match is an absolute failure thanks to WWE's awful handling of their performers.

It does makes Rollins stronger being both champions. Rollins interest in the title is who is holding it and how his legacy can get boosted with a win over that guy and holding both titles.

The build up to the Rollins and Cena match has been good and each of there singles matches has been good too. I expect another good match at SS and Rollins holding both belts makes him stronger and whoever the right person is to take the US and WHC from him will be stronger too.

Exactly. His WWE Championship reign has meant nothing so far as it's mostly been about who's eventually going to take it from him.

As for Cena's promo last night. F*** him. Seriously.

I actually wouldn't mind this

Does anyone else have issues with the on demand stuff on the wwe network? Buffers like a mother****er on my ps4.

The point is wasting the U.S title build up on a guy who is already the top champion is stupid when it should go to someone like Cesaro, Owens, or Neville. Rollns wouldn't need this if he wasn't made to look so bad the past few months. It doesn't matter that it makes him look stronger if he wins because he shouldn't be the guy getting this rub and he shouldn't be in a position where he needs to win the U.S title to gain credibility. This whole title for title stip is moronic and Cena should have dropped the title before going back to the main event.

United States Champion Vs. World Champion History

I'm sure I'm missing a few. Let me know!
This would be a DVD set I'd buy instantly.

1. Hornswoggle defeated Heath Slater. The Oshkosh, Wisconsin native won with a Tadpole Splash.

WWE Main Event TV Taping

1. Charlotte (w/Becky Lynch) defeated Alicia Fox (w/Nikki Bella, Brie Bella). Charlotte won via the Figure Eight. A solid match with good pop from the crowd.

WWE Smackdown spoilers:

1. Ryback fought Big Show to a double count out. Good match to start. The activity went outside the ring and Ryback performed a Meathook Clothesline on Big Show through the barricade. The finish looked very weak, but it was a very suitable ending to the lead in to the championship SummerSlam match...

2. New Day defeated Los Matadores with El Torito in a six-man tag. Another pretty good match. Los Matadores were tossed out of the ring, which left El Torito in the ring with Big E, who Big E hit the big splash. E tagged in Woods for the cover and the pin...

Dolph Ziggler came out with Lana and cut a promo. Rusev came out with Summer Rae and they basically hyped the SummerSlam match. Good to see Dolph back. Solid crowd pop...

3. Neville defeated Bo Dallas. Neville won a quick match with the Red Arrow. Stardust and King Barrett appeared on the Titantron after the match to hype the SummerSlam tag match...

Team Bella came out and cut a promo before being interrupted by Team BAD. They got into each other's faces, then Becky Lynch and Charlotte came out...

4. Brie Bella defeated Becky Lynch and Sasha Banks. Brie pinned Becky while pulling the tights. The pre match setup was the best part of the match. Again, the whole point was to hype SummerSlam...

5. Cesaro, Randy Orton, Roman Reigns, and Dean Ambrose defeated Kevin Owens, Sheamus, Bray Wyatt, and Luke Harper. Great match for an eight-man tag. Plenty of action for a Smackdown. It made up for Seth Rollins not being here as advertised. A lot of build up during the match and the finish saw everyone perform their finishers. It ended with Ambrose performing Dirty Deeds on Harper for the pin...

I loved his promo. Added some real juice to it and was a huge f**k you to Triple H which sets up something to look forward to in the match (or it's conclusion).

To be honest, the WWE title match and the IC match are the two most uninteresting matches on a pretty outstanding card.

The main reason to keep checking this thread/! :hmr:

I was just being sarcastic about fresh direction, Triple H and Steph still doing the same tired roles they have been doing for 2 years.

I thought it was a good promo, too. People want more edge from Cena. He just told Rollins that he would make him his *****. That's like something someone would've said in an ECW promo.

But yeah, between Takeover and Summer Slam, this ought to be a really good weekend from WWE. Kinda bummed that Owens-Cesaro isn't on the card, but Owens is against Balor in a ladder match in the main event Saturday night. It's probably good to give him the night off.

WWE Shop is having a nice little sale with $14.99 shirts. I think I might finally pick up a classic DX shirt.

I think Cena's promo was good by the way, I just hate the stipulation for the match and I feel the match has no good possible outcome.

I want the Seth Rollins statue! The only thing to make this character even better is to literally make him a false idol.
