When will PWZ come out on DVD?

I really liked it, but it flopped at the box office. So hopefully we can get the DVD soon. Anyone got an idea when it will come out?

When I was a teenager, we had to wait for a year or longer for the VHS to come out.
Then it jumped to 6 months, then 5 months, now it seems they can't get them out fast enough. Some movies are 3 months till they hit DVD.

Yeah I was thinking the same thing it took like a year for movies to come out on VHS back in the day. I couldn't believe movies like Dark Knight and Death Race are out on DVD already. Thats cools though now I don't have to wait too long to get the DVD and watch it again. I hope they have some nice extras that talk about the comic book series throughout the years.

Haha. oh, yes. I remember I'd completely forget about the movie and then it would be advertised on TV to own on VHS and I used to get so excited. it was like seeing it for the first time. Especially older movies that were released before VHS. I remember I was the king of grade school because I had Raiders of the Lost Ark on VHS. AND I could wait it any time. Big Pimp.

Some movies still take there time to come out on DVD though. Most companies think they can make more money by pushing the DVD out quickly, like the Dark Knight (look how much money it made from Christmas sales.) Other movies though don't come out that quick. Fred Claus came out in theater Nov of 2007 it was just released on DVD on Nov 25, 2008 so over a year later.

If Lionsgate was smart, they'd release the film on DVD now for the holiday shopping season cause it looks like this movie is tanking at theaters.

I'd agree with you if Lionsgate would've just stuck with their original date of September. With Christmas so close now, they can't get a dvd out that quickly for sale.

Fred Claus came out in theater Nov of 2007 it was just released on DVD on Nov 25, 2008 so over a year later.

I think that's a marketing trick for the seasons. If I remember right, they did the same thing with Jingle All the Way.

It is a trick. No one wants to buy a Christmas movie in the middle of spring/summer.

The same was done to the holiday film This Christmas and it came out in November 2007. Prior to advertising for it, it was already debuting on pay tv.
