So with the confirmation of a Sinister Six we will most probably (and most hopefully) eventually see Otto Octavius go up against Andrew Garfield's Spider-Man.

- What actor do you want to play him? He should probably be an accomplished actor in the same vein as Chris Cooper.

- How do you want him to be portrayed/introduced? Should he work for Oscorp initially? Should he be the Master Planner?

- What should he look like? bowl cut? sunglasses? portly?

Personally I want Kevin Spacey:

And I think he should be portrayed as weak and pathetic but secretly be the master planner throughout ASM 3-5 and unleash the Sinister Six in ASM6. Maybe I like Keyser Soze too much...

And I like the Ultimate update on his costume. But it doesn't even have to be green imo:

Wait, Doc Ock was confirmed? By whom? When?!

OH i meant confirmation of Sinister Six. SORRY *edited*

It's possible doc ock won't be part of the sinister 6 that Webb is possibly setting up

Exceptions from the source material are sometimes made so this could be another

I think the first Sinister Six will be lead by the Green Goblin, and after its defeat, Doc Ock will be introduced and lead the second S6.

I personally hope it's not led by Gobby. I think they are doing awesome things by setting up several villains under the Oscorp arc. But that they should be used in the future with Octavius at the helm.

Personal opinion of course. But Gobby has enough impact on Peter with Harry and Gwen and Oscorp. He doesn't need the Sinister Six ontop of all that.

I doubt they will do it twice, no point doing the same idea for another movie

You realize there have been SEVERAL formations and incarnations of the Sinister Six in the comics, right?
i do infact know that but why would they do the sinister six TWICE in the same series with different leaders.

Well, if the leader of the Six dies or ends up in prison, it seems logical that someone would take their place and fill the gap in the organization.

Well, if the Sinister Six gets defeated, and GG is gone, they would try to team up again and defeat Spider-Man a second time, and would need a new leader.

I think the sinister 6 will be a one off event movie, at least till the next reboot, I don't think they will just repeat it wit another movie

Probably. All hope is lost for a Sinister Seven movie hehe.

I have too many thoughts for the rest of this series that I really have to condense into something coherent. It's almost frustrating.. lol

Do you really think that that would happen. that doesn't sound good and might come off as repetitive. i think the sinister six will be a one movie event. like the movie to end all movies in that series

I agree on the one movie event idea, though I don't think it would be the end of the series. Maybe just the end of a story arc.

Yeah, that's how I see it too. I see how they could do it, but I don't think they would do it.
let us know
Will do.

I see these early TASM films as the "Phase one" of this film universe, which lead up to a major Sinister Six film. Then the so-called "phase two" begins and leads up to another big film... let's say Spider-Man vs. Venom? (Phase Two could be dubbed "The Venom Saga").

i realistically don't see Tasm series going past 4 movies. atleast not with the same cast
