What was that movie that came out not too long ago, the one that was critically acclaimed and hugely successful? Oh yeah, The Avengers, the movie that had six heroes teaming up. That's fine, but S6 is "too cartoony," nope not buying it.

I think no one would complain if this happened. I'd like to see him with dark hair.

I think Jeremy Piven would be an interesting choice. Maybe partly because he's actually extremely fit, rather than portly.

But I like the actor a lot. If you think he's wrong for Ock, which Spider-Man character do you think he could play?

I second Christoph Waltz. I guess I grew up with Otto being German in the 90's cartoon, and with a name like Otto Octavius... can't help but think German. LOL And the man is a god given talent and tremendous actor. I think he would be tremendous for the role! I also support the idea of Jared Harris and could also see Alan Rickman as Doc Ock! t:

I like a lot of the suggestions. I'd be excited to see any of the following in rough order of preference:

Kevin Spacey
Phillip Seymour Hoffman
Christoph Waltz
Jared Harris

But anyway I think between 50 and 65 (or on the same age scale as Aunt May). And around the level of fame of Chris Cooper. I think "short" is less important than "tubby" and that no particular attention needs to be paid to the actor's fitness level. Then again, I just remind myself that Paul Giamatti is Rhino... And that anything is possible when Ben Affleck is chosen to be Batman.

I love the idea of Christoph Waltz. I remember when people suggested him for Norman Osborn.

However, do you think he should gain some weight if he'd get the role?

He should gain weight.

I have seen only one movie of him(Django Unchained).Though he acted really well I get the feeling he looks too 'good-boyish' to play an evil villain if you know what I mean

He played an evil nazi in Inglorious Bastards. Got an Oscar for that role, he was very good.
