The top three stand out for me now above the rest but they are so different from each other its hard to split them, Deadpool if you want to laugh, DOFP if you want team action and Logan if you want to cry your eyes out like a newborn.

For now I think I would go as follows but yeah the X series has a nice strong top 5 now:

3. DOFP
4. X2
5. The Wolverine EE

Thats a nice collection and but I am looking forward to the day I can add X-Force to it......

Logan is very good but VERY one note. Bleak, sad and intense ALL the way through.

While I enjoyed it, I honestly think DOFP, X2 and The Wolverine itself are better films. Certainly more entertaining. I'm going back and forth on Logan this day. The more I dwell on it the more brilliant it becomes. Yet, it's just so damn bleak...

I haven't actually seen the Wolverine but this film piqued my interest in it.

This is in my top three along with Deadpool and DOFP, but I'm not sure which one reigns supreme.

It is kind of fighting with The Wolverine for #3. I need to see it a few more times. It is clearly the best film, on so many levels, of the franchise. But god damn, do I love Yukio.

I'm not as big on any of the other critically acclaimed movies. X2, First Class, DoFP, etc. I find Last Stand and Apocalypse pretty fun though.

Controversial to rank this so low, but I tend to judge my top films based on rewatchability. Logan is a masterpiece but I don't feel the need to watch it over and over again because it's tone is so heavy. Plus, I always lean towards the ensembles because Wolverine was never really my fav character (though I appreciate his role and character arc).

DOFP had an iconic storyline and a massive amount of star power. It's going to be hard to ever top. That being said, Logan came as close as a smaller story possibly could.

Not sure I can create a top 5 until I re-watch the entire cinematic universe again, but Logan & DoFP are easily two of the best X-Men films in the series. Logan is number one.

Logan is one of the best CBMs I've ever seen.
