So very simply rank your top 5 characters from DOFP. This isn't the elimination game, just similar to rank your top films.

Some spoilers may occur if you haven't seen the film.....

I know all OT, apart from blink but she's sooooo good she's become a OT classic.

1) Blink - no words... I'm in love
2) Storm - I like her in DOFP more than in previous movies
3) Kitty - Ellen Page delivered a very good perfomance.
4) Mystique - MacGuffin
5) Warpath - I don't know why but I like this character and Stewart is fine as Warpath. I like a chemistry between him and Blink.

Of course both Magnetoes and Professors are very good. Quicksilver is fantastic but this list is my pleasure list

1. Magneto - Young (Fassy is a #Boss)
2. Prof X - Young (Best performance from an actor so far this year I have seen)
3. Mystique - (JLaw did not let us down)
4. Quicksilver - (Just because of the hate turnaround)
5. Blink/Warpath - (They come as a pair and would never leave each others side)

1 - young Charles Xavier - way ahead of the others. Best acting and the heart of the film. James is boss.
2 - Quicksilver - brief but amazing. Loved him.
3 - Wolverine - Hugh never disappoints, and here he's at his best since X2.
4 - Mystique - She had the best arc after young Charles. Just wish her makeup looked better.
5 - Trask / Blink - from the newcomers (apart from Peters) they impressed me the most. I just love Dinklage' voice and how he imposes himself. And Blink had the most amazing powers, visually. A pity her character (like those of Sunspot, Warpath, Bishop) wasn't more developed (understandable, but still a pity).

It'll be interesting to see how many people have wolverine in top 5. I think the GA love wolverine and go to watch him, but fans go to see other characters.... The other thing is you can't exactly miss wolverine can you, he's there all the time.

Plus as theatre goer the supporting roles are usually more interesting than the lead

[Nerial]

1. Young Charles Xavier. Best character arc, and James McAvoy gave it his all. He can convey emotional pain without coming off as a whiner. Heartbreaking and compelling--your heart breaks for him.

2. Mystique. I was surprised how much I liked Jennifer Lawrence playing that balance between FC Raven and X1/X2 Mystique. Plus, she also had a good story here, and you see why she turned evil in the original future.

3. Wolverine. The scenes with young Xavier, as Logan is trying so hard to be patient and help him, really made the movie for me. It also gave Wolverine more depth, as it's clear that underneath all that aggression, he's a good person who would do just about anything for the people he cares about.

4. Young Magneto. The guy's a badass. Fassbender owns that role--he balances intelligent and charm with this cold determination and intimidating presence.

5. Quicksilver. Loved him. Evan Peters couldn't have been better, with this playful persona the movie truly needed. Plus, that prison break was just awesome.

I still loved older Professor X, older Magneto, Kitty, Blink (those portals were visually stunning), and there's definitely love for young Hank/Beast (who I noticed isn't getting a lot of recognition here).
