Panda Software did a scan for me for free and it says I have some spyware on my computer that Adaware and Spybot could not find. It says that the spyware is in a file in my local settings, but as much as I've tried to find it, I can't.

Where is the local settings folder?

Go to your file explorer program where you can see all the folders on your comp. Click the C drive. Documents and Settings. Then click which user you are. And Local Settings is under that.

I know. I tried that and I can't find it. :(

It's like it's hidden or something and doesn't want to come out and play.

It's not there? That's where mine is. I just checked.........

Have you tried running a search of your hard drive? Look for files and folders on the C drive.

Typically those reside under:
C:\Documents and Settings\<Your UserName>\Local Settings\Application Data

So I would reccommend getting familiar with the folder and investigate there.
Remember, you may see files that are WAY longer then your screen.
