This thread is for posters who have kids. Let's talk about them.

I have a kid. She cries a lot. Also she poops. :) I love her.

Okay. Let's talk about them.

How awkward will it be once one of the posters' children begins posting on the Hype?

Then you are officially old. No getting around it.

 Not akward at all... My daughter is actually Jag. :hehe:

Wow.
I have been bragging all over the place about my 2nd born, b/c of this.

You are all my children...

... whom I gave up for adoption.

I love my kids, don't get me wrong. But they have a knack for working your nerves. I have co-workers with newborns & I tell them they're on the easy part. I often half-jokingly say that parenting is spending two years trying to get someone to walk & talk, & spending the next 16 trying to get them to sit down & be quiet.

I have two little girls (2 and 3) and one on the way.

I'm enjoying having my disposable income and freetime at the moment. When I'm over 30 then I'll start thinking about breeding a mini army of mini me's.

You know how you make God laugh, chambermusic?

Tell Him your plans.
These are my mini-me's.

Ryan, (12) Brandon, (now 9) & in Brandon's lap, Ora (now 4).

In the words of House:

"I just want a wife who will help me breed a superior race."

My girl is 2 years old....loves Mickey Mouse, Batman, Goofy, Superman, and Winnie the Pooh.........

.....in no particular order.

Were you the one doing the "stay at home dad" thing as well? If so, are you still doing it?

Ora is in charge, ain't she? She looks like it's her world up in here.

Yep....I retired, wife got pregnant, we had a choice....I could go to work and give most of my paycheck to someone else to watch the baby, or I could take care of her myself.

I take care of her :woot:

How does it work out for you? My wife and I could be facing some similar choices in the future.
