Where the Wild Things are.

I used to love reading the book as a kid and watching this will be a reminder of my childhood.

Max's hair is the wrong color. And you can see too much of it.

Boo!

Seriously though, I can't wait for this movie.

The poster is out now, too.

:wow::wow::wow:

I just totally fangasmed. I will definitely need a copy of that for my wall.

Just caught the test-footage and the poster today, and, I gotta say... this movie looks absolutely amazing. This film just recieved a huge bump on my most anticipated list for this year.

As someone whos been waiting for this film since the first trailer debuted in front of the God awful Grinch movie, I have to say that I LOVE the poster :woot:

It was a teaser trailer, but yes. That was when Universal was going to do the movie. Now it's Warner Bros.

Yup and it was the only good thing about having to see Grinch INO

Not sure if it's been posted to youtube but feel free to look

I can't find it. What did it look like?

God it's been so long cuz they actually pulled it from theaters shortly after the Grinch opened. (The movie actually began filming in 2005! :csad:)

I think you hear the Wild Things roar and see some jungle scenery. We may have even talked about it and given better discriptions of it..try reading the last 4 pages or so.

I gotta say I have Memories of reading this book when I was just a kid. The Test Footage looks great and I really hope there not pulling our legs with that 3 min Trailer in front of MvA.

I just hope they aren't pulling our legs with "Spike Jonze's vision has not been comprimised" :csad:

Theres something unsettling about this picture. I think that's fantastic. I like that this isn't a watered down kids movie. This is, as far as we've seen, the perfect adaptation of Where the Wild Things Are

I barely remember the story, but I do remember the illustrations. This looks amazing.

And this Thursday we'll see the first trailer...

I think kids will be able to handle this, but any gripes will come from parents. Bringing a two year old to this is pointless, even if it is "made for them." I think 5 years old and up would be fine. You want to see this in a quiet theatre, best to shoot for a late showing.
