Which actors would have been awesome for DC

As far as actors who would have been coups for DC...let me see there are so many off the top of my head that could have made the DCEU seem more important such as:

Tom Cruise
Brad Pitt
Charlize Theron
Angelina Jolie
Keanu Reeves

I can go on and on

I think a 'TOP GUN' era Tom Cruise would have been a home run with him being Hal Jordan.
The effects might not have been there but it could have been good.

Edward Furlong was a possible contender for Dick Grayson back in 1995. Wasn't DiCaprio that too?
It would have been interesting to see one of them. In any case, the character would have been darker than the one we got.

By 2000, the Batman franchise was dead. Let's say it didn't become as bad as it got.
One really obvious actor for Robin then was Kevin Zegers, bcause of his Burt Ward looks.
I remember talks about doing yet another film after B&R. It could have made the franchise matter again, no longer be seen as campy crap.
Three different titles and approaches were mentioned. Wasn't Batman intimidation Game one of them?
Don't remember any of the plots, but three of actors suggested: Mel Gibson, Kevin Costner and Kurt Russell. Surely could raise the eyebrow
