90s had the best TV too.

Kenan and Kel, Sister Sister, Sliders, Hey Arnold, Recess, Dexters Laboratory, Powerpuff Girls, Johnny Bravo, Batman Beyond, Batman the Animated Series, X-Men, Spider-Man

The 90's were such simpler times. oh how I miss it.

Right on.

I record so much TV now but don't watch half of it as I say to myself I can watch it whenever but back then you watched it or you missed it for good so you had more incentive to watch.

I'm 25. The 90's feel like a weird past life.

I'm 33, but I totally agree on the "past life" feeling.

I'm 29 and I feel like it was just so damn long ago. Things have changed so much

Anyone liked that song? I'm blue da ba dee and whatnot?

I don't like Sopranos, Mad Men or Breaking Bad:( and I hate Dexter.

Here's more reasons why I love the 90's:

16. JAG

17. Playstation

18. Hercules: The Legendary Journeys.

19. Mask of Zorro, Disney's Tarzan, Disney's Hercules

Things I hate about the 90's:

1. Ugliest clothes ever.

2. Stupid and ugly comics like Spawn.

3. Horrible music.

Take it back! :cmad:

Just turned 26 earlier in the week for age reference.

I prefer the 90's over the 2000's.

I can find enjoyment in both era's with pop culture as well as television.
I do vastly prefer the music from the 90's.

As much as I prefer the ability to access information so much easier in the 21st century. I do however feel like a hypocrite for also feeling like we are too connected now.

Maybe I'm ignorant on the subject matter and romanticized the era too much, but the option of withdrawing from society seemed a lot easier in the 90's if it was needed. Secrets/rumors (true or false) could be kept a lot easier and not spread like wildfire.

I have to say that I do love the internet. My family wasnt connect until I started college in 1999.

So, are you saying that edgyness = good?

What I really meant was "subversive".

and I feel having some subversive ideas mixed into the pop culture feed is more comforting than none.

I like when the entire media doesn't beat the same drum.

Social media is a double edged sword. It allows us to express ourselves and communicate a great deal with distant family and with like-minded strangers who we'd typically remain invisable to otherwise.

On he flip side, you're not motivated to interact face to face because it offers much less control of your image than a social media format. You can't photoshop or edit a face to face conversation.

90s for sure, because I had less information about things I liked, and that somehow let me enjoy them more, such as movies, tv shows, celebrities.

So much attention in short time!

As for the 90's X-Men I admit it is great but this is the ultimate culmination of the series:

Warning: May make you slightly insane.

I went with the 2000's. probably mainly due to the internet and where we are with it since 2000.

I still cannot really say which I prefer more. For nostalgia, it's the 90's for sure although I'm sometimes more fond of the 80's. The 00's however have deep importance and history as well. Both occured at different points in my life making it even harder to pick.

TV dramas are better in 00's and 10's thanks to HBO and other cable channels. Cartoons and comedies were generally better in the 90's.

90's was all about the best sitcoms. The great 1hr dramas were few and far in-between.

As for technology ruining everything starting in the 2000's.....I agree with that to an extent. You could find spoilers online in the late 90's if you knew where to dig.

I get tired of seeing everyone having a cell phone in their ear all the time. People get so absorbed by those things.

That has gotten old quickly.
