In the upcoming arc, Death of the Goblin, which Goblin would you like to die. And what goblin do you think will die?

I think GG will die, because we haven't seen him for a long time. I think Hobgoblin and GG will apear, though. I want Hobgoblin to die.

My amazing powers of precognition tell me that it will be the Gray Goblin that dies, since he's a useless remnant of the much-hated "Sins Past" storyline.

^This is taking place in the Ultimate universe shortly after the clone saga, so Sins Past hasn't happened in the story he's talking about.

I'd vote Hobgoblin coz Green Goblin is such an iconic villain where as Hob isn't as much. Green Goblin also looked better. I think in the end it'll all be down to giving Harry a bigger role nearer the movie, either dieing or revenging his father.

I assumed it would be Norman that dies, since his death is even more iconic than Harry's. The Ultimate Clone Saga is coming up and we know that Norman was the mastermind of the 616 Clone Saga, so I'm going to assume that he will at least be a part of the Ultimate version (albeit with the ncessary twist).

Still, it would be cool to see the Ultimate Goblins go head to head. Norman would wipe the floor with Harry in no time flat. Unless Harry saves Peter at the last moment and kills Green Goblin, I see Hobgoblin going down.

I don't care which one dies. They both suck as Goblins IMO. Too different from their 616 counterparts. Especially Hobgoblin. He hardly spoke.

First of all, I would have never entered if I knew it was an "Ultimate" thread. But since the word was lacking anywhere, I made my initial post... where I was called a racist by someone who obviously does not know the meaning of the word.

Secondly, I first read that "quote" in old Asterix books back in the 70's, where it was a "j" instead of the "i" (which I did know about), but I use the "j" because it has a greater meaning to me and both spellings are generally accepted.

The Hobgoblin should die, he's useless. Both as Harry Osborn and a big orange goblin. Seriously, it's Norman who should continue to be a threat to Peter. Besides, all the Hobgoblin did was beg to die. Help the poor guy out!!!

I'm not too sure which will die. The Ultimate Universe usually mimics 616 but both of these men have died there in the past so it's tough to say. I'm hoping Harry will die saving Peter, because if Norman kills him that will increase his vendetta with Spider-Man ten fold.
It would also be interesting to see Norman "die" and Harry become a real evil villain in order to mistakenly avenge his father.
Another possibility, proposed by Jack Skellington, is that they may simply be cured of their Goblinism, which would be fine by me.
I hope the next step in the Green Goblin and Hobgoblin's evolutions will be for them to grab a glider and toss some pumpkins bombs. I think the fact that they mutated into monsters due to their genetic tampering makes more sense then simply wearing a halloween costume in order to organize a world wide crime syndicate, but now that GG sort of has the mutation under control, its time for him to get soem gadgets.
