They don't all have to be good or bad, just the most remembered.

Bugger the poll was meant to be multiple choice but oh well. I guess it makes it more fun

Do you mean "The Room" as in the Tommy Wiseau movie? Because that wasn't from the 2010s...

Avengers will be remembered as the most influential blockbuster of the decade. Mad Max: Fury Road will be remembered as the most critically acclaimed blockbuster.

I have to go with The Avengers. Much like Star Wars in the 1970s and Jurassic Park in the 1990s, it changed the way blockbusters are made. Everything is all about trying to create a larger connected universe now and it is because of The Avengers.

It is far from the best movie of the decade, but it is the most influential and the one likely to be the best remembered because of it.

Yeah, I'm gonna need this poll to be made multichoice...

How do you have Big Hero 6, The Artist, Jurassic World and Beauty and the Beast in a decade encompassing poll?

I think of lot of these films will be remembered. But if I had to pick one from this list, I think Mad Max Fury Road or Toy Story 3. Though I wonder if something like Shinkai's great Your Name or Hirokazu's Like Father, Like Son won't be better remembered once they become familiar to wider audiences over the years.

Most remembered I don't know, but Gone Girl will definitely be one of those. Its the Fatal Attraction of the 00s.

That's an interesting thought. As Americans we're quick to think of Hollywood first and (mostly) only. I wonder what other countries' efforts will be remembered in the long run.

The Avengers will be the most remembered. But it's definitely not the best movie of the decade.

Multiple movies on the list, but most definitely Mad Max. It's gonna be an action movie classic.

Realistically Frozen...

Other than that, it's between The Avengers & Star Wars - The Force Awakens for me.

Though I think the final Harry Potter movie, The Hunger Games & Jurassic World will be up there.

I think a good amount of movies will, especially a lot of Marvel's movies, some of Pixar's movies, and probably Rogue One among others.

If I had to pick one movie that I think will be remembered more (and more fondly) than anything else, it would be Guardians of the Galaxy. It's just so unique and original that I think it will go down in history as a classic movie of the 2010s. Also, the exposure and popularity it received when it came out was some of the biggest I've seen during this decade, characters like Rocket and Star-Lord went from being nobodies to being household names pretty much overnight.

Edit: As someone else said above, Frozen is another major one.

I'm pretty sure Mad Max: Fury Road will stand the test of time.

Off the top of my head:

Inception
The Social Network
The Avengers
Skyfall
Django Unchained
Frozen
12 Years a Slave
Gone Girl
Guardians of the Galaxy
The Lego Movie
John Wick
Mad Max: Fury Road
The Force Awakens
Deadpool
Get Out
Logan
Wonder Woman
The Hunger Games

I think think Get Out will because of how influential it was to the horror genre and the out-of-nowhere box office shocker of the year. Probably Frozen of how catchy the tunes were.

Honorable mentions (for good or not so good):
Deadpool
The Avengers (First superhero crossover ever)
Django Unchained
Batman v. Superman: Dawn of Justice
Inception
Toy Story 3
Moonlight and La La Land (partly because of the Oscar fiasco)
Despicable Me
Star Wars: The Force Awakens (Highest grossing film domestically)
Furious 7 (partly because of Paul Walker's death and Wiz Khalifa music video)
Wonder Woman (Maybe the highest grossing origin superhero film ever)
Suicide Squad
Guardians of the Galaxy
Logan (If it is Hugh Jackman last X-Men film)

I'd wager Force Awakens because it was probably A LOT of kid's first SW experience, plus the rabid SW fans will talk about it as they do all SW films in the years to come.

Doubt it will be a comic book movie. Probably something like Frozen. Disney cartoons tend to be beloved for decades after release.

Frozen. It was and still is a huge cultural phenomenon. If I could pick another I'd pick John Wick. I think that carved out a nice little niche for itself and will influence many an upcoming action flick. People picking Avengers need to remember, the culture will not remember it specifically, they're gonna remember the mcu and how that impacted the film industry. By the end of the decade there will be 4 avengers movies and for those not into superheroes, they'll be kind of interchangeable.

Kind of tricky question. I mean, pretty much anything will be remembered by someone, probably. :) But if we're talking about movies that might end up on future "best of all time"-lists or something like that, then I suppose anything that's been critically acclaimed and/or a huge box office success.

BATMAN V SUPERMAN
That event too many fans waited to have for long, the greatest superheroes ever made meet on the big screen for the very first time, and we had the biggest disappointment of this century.

BVS will definitely go down as this decade's Phantom Menace.

That one is probably going to be the most infamous movie of the decade.

Anyway, shouldn't this thread be made when the decade is actually over?
