Okay I choosed this two since they are consired by many the greatest werewolf movies,at least in modern filmmaking. Which transformations do you like the most and which werewolf do you find creepier? the one from american werewolf in london or the one from the howling? which movie do you like more?

I love them both!
Why is it always either/or with you people?!?:cmad:

The Howling is better because of the scene in the porn shop, the weird-ass group in the woods, Slim Pickens, werewolf sex scene, exploring a serial killer's house while he's away and televised transformation into the world's first adorable, button-nosed werewolf.

I like An American Werewolf in London the most. But the werewolfs in The Howling are pretty badass!

I've seen neither. I'm not a fan of horror movies in general.

I like American Werewolf in London more. It's one of my favorite movies. But I've seen it like 10 times but Howling only once. I should probably watch it again before I could choose fairly.

That's a hard choice,I like them both.
American Werewolf

American Werewolf in London. It campy... it scary... I love it.

The part with the guy in the train station still scares me to this day. I take the train all the time, and sometimes the station get real empty and it scary what you hear when it does.

Same here, going down the escalator, that's all I can think about in a empty station :(

I REALLY REALLY love that shot from the top of the escalators were you only see the werewolf's head from a distance. It's just perfect.

Never seen The Howling, so I'm kinda biased... :o

American Werewolf in London. The transformation scene still freaks me out after all these years.

The Howling was a fantastic movie, too. The sequels, well........

i like jack nichilsons(sp?) and michele pfiepher(sp?)..WOLF...or w/e its called

that movie was 100%..BADASS and the BEST werewolf movie ever made

AWIL is on the top.All these years and some of the scenes are still impressive.

i think the howling has a better story, but the effects (especially the transformation) in american werewolf in london are superior. i think i prefer american werewolf for the use of humor and the effects

Howling was scarier. American Werewolf in London was more entertaining. i could watch the latter every week and enjoy it (seems to be case when October roles around). Howling's one of those things that i'd probably only rent once to show my friends. i do like the look of the werewolves in Howling a lot better, though. reminded me sort of the "lycans" in Dog Soldiers.

American Werewolf in London remains one of my favorite horror films. This and The Lost Boys remain my favorite contemporary takes on the werewolf and vampire.

I rented AWIL and The Howling and watched both back to back. I didn't really like The Howling. I didn't really think the humor was funny. Although i did like the part with Forrest J. Ackerman in the book store, i didn't find much else of it funny. and the transformation sequence was boring(the ones towards the end with the serial killer). The guy just stood there. It wasn't really intense or anything.

and the Howling sequels...god how they're awful. Although, i did like the one with Christopher Lee in it. It was campy as hell, but CHRISTOPHER LEE!!!

I absoluetely love that movie, but it's definitely not the best were wolf movie, at least to me.
I like that movie too. I love it's mood and Nicholson's makeup near the end is really freaky and amazing. He really looks like a man-beast.
