Yes, but the sword fights have an old-fashioned feel to them. When Jack and Will fight at the blacksmith shop or whatever it was very old skool. That is what's so great about the first movie...it's a classic Pirate movie.

True, the fighting was more old fashioned in CotBP.

The best sword fight of the movies was Jack's and Barbossa's. That was a great sword fight. While not nearly as flashy, it was a clean sword fight with a lot of bad blood. Plus, a classic ending.

very true, and you may have nailed it also DMC/AWE are great adventure movies, but Curse of the Black Pearl is a great pirate movie

I've seen at World's end twice now..and i think i probably prefer..Dead Man's chest..

I've only seen the first two movies...but I know without a doubt the first will always be the classic.

I didn't particularly like the second film all too much.

To be honest...the first film was pretty good...but Jack Sparrow holds together this film...and without the focus of Jack in the second film and the over the top situations he was put in...the film just wasn't as good.

That and all of the talking scenes were quite boring and were not as compelling as the COTBP.

One after my own heart. I loved all three. All three movies were awesome in my opinion.

2 was best, I don't see any of the flaws people are talking about, it must have been good people spent alot of money on it, so something worked, and I couldn't stop watching it on dvd when I got it.

1 was very good, but when it comes to 3 I couldn't and still can't get over how BAD it was!

It's like they went ******ed and ran out of ideas. It had no structure and went no where. It was like they blew their load and didn't know how to handle 3, like they just wanted to get it over with.

It's another perfect trilogy for me.
Up there with the original Star Wars Trilogy, Lord of the Rings, Indiana Jones, and Back to the Future.

Interesting. I liked DMC but I didn't think it was anything special. The first and third are the badass movies. So almost perfect for me.
