For the best.......split between X-Men and Batman (each have their great, iconic foes along with some crappy ones)

For the worst...Fantastic Four. Honestly, other than Dr. Doom (who's name even makes him borderline campy) who is there? Mole Man? I can't even think of others.

Hulk's and Iron Man's are also pretty lame. I don't really read too many DC comics, so I can't comment on those heroes.

Darkseid is not a "Superman villain".
He's a Jack Kirby creation that got dragged into Superman's world beCAUSE Superman's villains are so lame and puss-ass DC decided to ride on Jack's coat-tails.
He's Orion's Nemesis/Father.

Technically, that's true. Darkseid's first brief appearance is in this comic:

However, Kirby was doing that book at that time and the storylines tied into his "Fourth World" titles that introduced the New Gods. So while it can be argued that Kirby didn't intend for Darkseid to be a "Superman villain", he did use a Superman book to introduce him.

i have to say that honestly Batman's villians are the best, most well known and most of them are bloody fantastic! in most comics you've got the hero fighting against the villian cause the villian is pissed off at something, but not with batman...i need to get back into batman comics...hmm

Decent Super Man (Zod, Darksied (sp), and Braniac)
Flash ( I do not understand all the different era's. What is currently happening or what would WB do for a film).
Fanatics Four has Dr. Doom and Galactus
Thor has some decent.

Green Lantern's villains all seem to be defined by different colored rings. Or they're rogue aliens. Very boring, so I'd call his the worst.

Iron Man has some weaker villains although there is an effort to make them better. I think the worst bunch would be Wonder Woman's.

Batman and X-men by far. Such complex and interesting villians like Joker, Magneto, Catwoman, Mystique, Two Face, Rah's, ect.

Superman has some pretty lame, two dimensional villians.

Besides Darkseid (We can debate who's villain he is but that's for a different time), Superman has Brainiac that can give him a run for his money. Maybe Doomsday for you 90's fans out there. Bizarro is kinda fun.

I think he has some decent villains only to be dropped or misused (Atlus, Livewire). I still think Wonder Woman has the worst, but it's always hard to say who's the worst without actually reading the comics themselves.
