Transformers G1, Beast Wars, and Beast Machines are obviously all good... Now I've started to watch Headmasters and I'll move on to Masterforce & Victory later. But what about this new stuff, Robots in Diguise, Armada, Energon, and Cybertron... Any of these shows any good? I remember liking the sub version of RID way back when and then when it came to america it being Realllly bad... What about these new shows?

I like all of the series except Beast Machines...just seemed like they were starting to get out of hand with the whole thing and it seemed like they were tossing up a hail marry for the first play of the game if u get what I am saying. It was just a pathetic attempt to try to keep the fans interested in the whole series...

I was unimpressed with Armada (the powerlinking was bleh, I felt like it was f-ing Power Rangers) and Energon, YTV show the dubbed versions of them. I liked Beast Machines.

IMO Armada and Cybertron are trash, its funny how on cybertron, the kids knew more about cybertron than the Autobots.

The new shows are pretty bad, the last good ones were BW/BM IMO.

I haven't watched much of them. I liked the one that was on Fox in 2000.

I never watched Beast Wars 'cause it sounded like a dumb toy commercial, and I just liked them as vehicles and weapons. Oh and don't forget the great Robot Chicken skit.

Cybertron was actually quiet good IF you can get past the accents.

Armada and Energon both are crapola.

Most of the rest are watchable.

I loved Beast Wars. Beast Machines and G1 Transformers were also great IMO. RID was a little strange, but I liked it. Anything after that never caught my interest, unfortunately.

I liked G1, Beast Wars, Robots in Disguise, and yes, even Armada.

I just recently picked up the G1 animated series collection on DVDizzle. It rocks my pants off. I'm also planning to get Beast Wars once I sell myself some more.

RiD is fun if you watch it under the impression that it's a parody of G1 and Beast Wars.

There's also Headmasters, Super God Masterforce, and Victory. These continue the G1 storyline way after the American versions do, and they ignore the US's three episode season 4. There's also Beast Wars 2 and Neo which somehow fit in Beast Wars continuity in Japan. They had a bit of a gap in getting the seasons over there so they made another show to hold people over. Subtitled imports of the three first series I mentioned are at cdwow.com.

I never knew that there was another Transformers cartoon before Armada. Might have to give that a try. I kinda enjoyed parts of Armada, specifically when they went back to Cybertron. Haven't really watched a lot of Energon. Cybertron though was pretty enjoyable, except for the fact that Transformations took now like half a minute.
