Age of Ultron Which Ultron design do you like better?

Ultron's face from the EW cover is the best so far, but I'm sure we'll see different stages throughout the film until a final version.

Ew ultron looks too flimsy to be final version, the face one looks more like something that would be covered in vibranium.

All the Ultron promo art has the face version so that's probably the version he'll have for the majority of the movie.

I think the perfect version would be a fusion between all of them, maintaining the classic design elements from the comics.

I'm not a big fan of the articulated face.

I don't really want to vote until I've seen more about what the more human version can bring when it comes to delivering in motion. It has more potential to express emotion and add another layer to what Spader's voice brings, but I can't know how good it will do this until I've seen more of it. Which of the two that looks best in a still is pretty irrelevant to me in the greater picture.

The face. I like it for the same reason I like Spader giving a spirited performance and not just aping HAL 9000. If I want another generic monotone expressionless killer robot I'll watch...literally every other movie dealing with killer robots.

Well good thing I didn't say everyone's been asking for it, did I? The other designs offered cover the mouth and eyes and I don't want that, which is why I prefer what we've gotten.

I want a robot with some personality.

Haha! t:I really like this comparaison! Cell is one of my fav vilain and the similarities between the two in term of story and evolution is quite obvious.

Its more emotive and you can even see Spader's performance. He does the head tilt he ways does in The Blacklist if anyone watches that show. The pinnochio metaphor becomes more apparent. Ultron evolves to become more human, a direct mirror to pinochio becoming a real boy. Man its very disturbing.

The Ultron on the top right has nothing to do with the movie, it was a display from the comic Age of Ultron.

You never know, he could have a realisation that he's become too alike the thing he hates most and changes to look less human. I think most of the movie he'll be in the face form but I can still hold onto hope he reverts back.

I honestly believe the ew cover version will at no point be ultron in the film those are all just drones.

Maybe. The EW cover Ultron is pretty much an Ultron drone with red on him instead of blue. Maybe once he gets his face variation he creates the drones based of his second form.

I'd think he would share the same look as his drones for a part of the movie. Only difference being the color in the eyes. Then he'd build a more sophisticated body for the main Ultron to inhabit, and ultimately coating that same body in Vibranium.
