Well, to me, the idea of a four door sedan is just lame, and the Decepticons already have a hotrod cop car, this just seemed the most likely.

It's inconspicuous, though. Most people would suspect a cruiser to be a giant transforming robot mech in disguise before they would the clunky security van.

Personally, I really like the idea of Arcee being a sexy little Japanese sports car. Here's one that I think would fit the bill. Obviously, they won't be using 2007 models by the time the movie gets made, but you get the basic idea.
