Astonishing is a good book, but overrated in my opinion. Joss Whedon is...satisfactory, but not exemplar.
Uncanny X-Men and just "X-Men" are the other two titles, and these lately have been barely okay. However, they are going in new directions VERY soon with new writers, and my hopes are high for them, so you might want to keep your eyes open for the new writing teams.

And whats the diff b/t the three titles?
B.U.M. said:I heard that Astonishing isn't in continuity, is that true?
I don't know to much on the X-men's history, which would be the easiest for me?

Newsarama said:- In regards to Astonishing X-Men, Quesada said that the Whedon/John Cassaday series will continue to "walk between the raindrops" of what's going on the larger Marvel Universe. The series is in continuity, Quesada reiterated, but, as he sees it, it stands on its own, virtually its own little X-Men movie.
