I think he might just be one of the token non-Avengers in the shot. Kind of like the early "FI" promos with Dracula.

I don't care about regular Spider-Man at all these days, and I NEVER cared about the Ultimates universe (where cannibalism is apparently rampant, from cannibalistic aliens to a cannibalistic Hulk), so either way it's no loss to me. I was just replying to someone commenting about Marvel targeting multiple demographics with a blatant and hilarious example of just that.

If that turns out to be true, it's a major "shame on marvel" not becuase I am at against any o those types in comics, but c'mon thats so over the top it comes of SO cheesy and almost insulting to those groups.
