Well this is a thread for which mutant will be Apocalypses Horsemen.
Phoenix-Famine
Cyclops-Death
Juggernaut- War
Mystique-Pestilence

I think 3 of them should be randoms (basically like the originals in the comics), and then have Angel become Archangel. However, since he didn't get much development, maybe have someone else, like someone who is "dead" or depowered, such as Cyclops or Rogue.

Cyclops for Death. I'd be a great way to bring Cyke back and give his the respect he's due.

Death - Arcangel
War - Cylcops
Pestilence - Rogue
Famine - Mystique

Death - Archangel (I don't know about Ben Foster though)

...The rest shouldn't all be X-Men or former Brotherhood members. That's boring and played out.

exactly. and I think it adds to the emotional impact of the one character turning to the dark side if it's just the one

I want them in X5.

Death - Archangel (definitely Foster)

The rest, I'm not sure. I've thought about Wolverine (yes, our hero from the last 3 movies) slowing changing in the next 2 movies until he turns bad and joins as War. I know he was Death in the comics, but we've already got Archangel to fill that role. :cwink: Famine and Pestilence should be characters taken from the comics who haven't had a real role in the movies yet. I don't know who, except probably NOT Sunfire. I'll be killing off Pyro with the Legacy Virus in my X5 and giving Rogue his powers. We don't need that much Pyro action AND another fire-manipulator introduced. :p

death archangel
and cyclops or wolverine
it depends on the enphasys of the movie.. but wolverine as a bad guy would rock!

I agree. I would love to see Wolvie on the other side, battling Storm, Rogue, Gambit, and all the others... Especially Rogue, though. I'd love to have a minute or two of them going one-on-one, like a student v. mentor role. I can picture two fight scenes occuring simultaneously: Logan v. Rogue, and Storm v. Archangel. Students battling their mentors; only one of the students is on the good side, and the other is on the evil side.

Of course, Rogue couldn't take Logan on her own, but a minute or two of solo battle would be nice. I'm not sure if Logan should have his adamantium or not at that point (wasn't the reason he joined the Horsemen in the comics because he lost his adamantium? I'm not sure); but if he did, I can picture Rogue taking his powers, then stabbing him with bone claws. She breaks her claw on his adamantium, giving him the opportunity to get the upper hand again. Maybe that could be combined with another scene I picture: her on top of him, touching him to drain his energy. he stabs her in the side, and slowly runs his claw up her body, ripping at her insides. The only reason she isn't dead is because she's taken his quick-healing abilities; but she can't hold on forever. Maybe that could be the point where she stabs him, and breaks her claw like I was talking about above.

I like the idea of "dead" and depowered mutants as the horsemen...

Similar to yours but I'd swap Jean with Rogue...and Juggernaut with maybe Magneto...

I would go with a different approach with the Horsemen. We had changes for the films, and by me they worked very well by now. For the Horsemen I would like to see a more serious approach than in the comics. I see them as phenomenons that occurred throughout our planets history.
First came the Famine, in the ancient times when man has established himself at the top of the food-chain, as civilizations flourished. Then.. when humanity survived and ascended in reason and intellect, Plague punished the cultural center of the world as the Black Death struck Europe. Humanity prevailed and even advanced in the fields of science, biology, physics, chemistry, astronomy.. The time was idle for the third Horseman to attack. The World War engulfed the whole world and War nearly succeeded in it's goal, but we remained. Now as the fourth Horseman prepares to strike in the form of Death Apocalypse will rise and devour the world, bringing an end to the evolution of humanity.
Of course the Horseman could have some forms during the film, but I wouldn't like some of the mutants to become them. Like I read some suggest Phoenix. That would ruin the symbolism between Apocalypse and Phoenix / Set and Horus. The Phoenix, finally resurrected like Horus did to avenge Osiris, will be Apocalypse's downfall after Angel opposes his master and refuses to finish the prophecy of the Fourth Horseman. The Angel could be Death and the story could revolve around his character until his final manifestation to Archangel.
Also I would take Angel to become the Horseman only if it is discovered that he possesses rejuvenating powers, which Apocalypse would alter and deform to the power of bringing death.
This is my idea for the 6th X-Men film, though I don't believe it will ever see the light of day. I also believe that you guys will not like it, but I took in consideration the movies that were previously done and followed a path the story could take.

That sounds interesting. :) I like the idea of major world events being linked to the Horsemen. I agree, also, no Phoenix in the lineup. :oldrazz:

This is really intresdting i liked the idea and i would personally like to hear ur more :word:

Thanks guys, I didn't really expect that anyone would like the idea.
I can also post in a thread my idea of "X-Men IV: Zero Tolerance" and "X-Men V: Inferno" if anyone wishes. :yay:
Apocalypse would be in VI.

Phoenix-Famine

Mystique-Pestilence

I prefer the original 4 horsemen i mean how exactly does mystique represent pestilence? Or phoenix represent famine? I mean cyclops kind of represents death except his optic blast primarily shove things out of the way.

Archangel is tool cool to be replaced by cyclops in goth gear and piercings. We all want cyclops back but his "death" in x-3 leaves enough room for a conventional return without having to bring apocalypse in.

The other three would be pale shadows of their original characters. I mean surely juggernaut would be exactly the same? How could apocalypse make him more powerful than `unstopable`? Phionex turning up would just mean they would have to kill her again. And mystique is cooler as the shape changer she was meant to be.

The original war was cool. He was a cripled war veteran given a second chance by apocalypse with the ability to create immense explosions by clap his hands. And famine and pestilence were perfect one created famine the other pestilence. Simple.

If you just give the names to anybody the first time out it begs the question how does a woman with immense telekinesis and midn powers end up getting called famine? And in what way does a woman who can change her appearance represent famine?

I just think the originals were good enough.

I always thought that Avalanche would make a great War....and it's a great way to introduce him into the movies

I want Archangel, Polaris, Gambit and Sunfire.

Wolverine could be a good choice but he's totally gonna overshadow the other horsemen.

I absolutely love the Horsemen that were introduced in Remender's Uncanny X-Force. They were a bunch of scary mutants that really embodied the terror of their names.
