Sry but I disagree, by ppl you mean in 'in' comic ppl who formed a group that think hating Wolverine is cool. Last numbers I checked showed a steady increase in Wolverine comics sales, while Amazing Spiderman has decreased. Look I understand you, and several ppl despise him, but it doesn't mean we all have to, and actually outside of this board (and other similar internet comic boards and anti-Marvel rant blogs) I've never heard anyone say anything bad about him in real life or in the media.

Sry not ranting, just getting tired of everyone saying we all have to like the same character, and if you like a character a certain group doesn't then your stupid or something. Wolverine is what got me into comics, he's been a major player in X-Men which has been a major book for Marvel that brought many of us into comics over the years and especially in the 90's. Not gonna argue, but quit acting like the world hates him because you do. People are not tired of Wolverine, the ppl of this and a few other boards on the net are tired of Wolverine, his merchandise, comic sales, and lack of ppl badmouthing him anywhere but the internet to me says otherwise.

I'll like him probably long after I've stopped liking the other characters. It's just a shame to see Wolverine like a drop of blood in the water and the posters like frenzied sharks on these boards. Anytime something bad happens Wolverines worked into the post to badmouth him, anytime something happens bad on the spidey pages it's always "Well atleast he didn't regen from bones like Wolverine", seriously guys get something new to hate it's looking kinda pathetic from my eyes. I held back on it, but when it gets worked into every post it seems more like an obsession then simply not liking a character. If you don't agree then how did you work Wolverine into 'The Ski Mask Guy' post? Sheesh...

Edit- there's a reason he's listed as Marvel's second most popular character, not second most hated. Or maybe I'm delusion and only little kiddies and blind Marvel fans buy it like some on here would say lol. (this isn't towards most of you just the ones that seem to do this every post, but damn it gets a bit much, just wanna read about events in comics, not see a character dragged into every conversation for no reason lol)

Sad thing is I meant no offense and have always seen you (since I started posting here) as one of the more level headed posters. It's just crap like that that u posted that just screams fanboy at me. Honestly wasn't going off or anything, it's just your saying everyones tired of Wolverine (not true), and that everyone is tired of anyone defending him. I mean some ppl (not me) are tired of Hulk and Spidey, post one bad thing about them on these boards (especially spidey) and nearly everyone defends him. Defend anyone you guys don't like and it's as if your the most ******ed mindless person ever in your eyes. It's basically hypocrisy to say anyone defending Wolverine over anything is a blind Marvel zombie, while ignoring the dozens and dozens who defend Spidey and Supes like they were religions no matter what they do. It's nothing personal, but eventually you'll realize that "Second most popular" thing isn't just a phrase, and that I (and others as well) get tired of being told what and who we should like or we're sheep.

I just kinda expected a bit better a response is all I'm saying. It's like wrestling smarks and marks, or anything else. If you like anyone but what's currently in your called out by the marks who say you don't know what's best, and if you defend something a bit more popular the smarks say your simply a sheep following the popular trend. Can't it just be that ppl like something, are entertained by it and want to read/watch it? Does there always have to be someone who says whoever likes a character like Wolverine and defends him is wrong and a sheep, then like a sheep themselves spew the same thing time and time again.

I'll just agree to disagree, not trying to start an argument as I don't care enough to worry about it. I'll keep reading Wolverine comics and enjoying what I bought with my money, you can keep trashing those who do like him and defend him and keep worrying about it and not be happy until he's no longer in comics or a B character. That's what I've always liked about the freedom to read what comics we want, we all make different choices and have the freedom to read what entertains us. The day we have to listen solely to the internet community on what comics to read is the day I stop reading comics, ppl buy what they enjoy reading, not what someone else enjoys reading. K you can post whatever, I'm done on that particualr conversation lol.
