Yes, there is a rumor the Flash will get a movie 2016. But its just that, a RUMOR. People have been saying this for years. It all depends on which character Dc/Wb trusts the most out of the three, if any. There IS a chance that they could announce in 2014 that they are making one of these movies to come out in 2016. Right before the rumored Justice League in 2017.

-Green Lantern has a Live action movie, 2 animated movies, and used to have an animated series. Thats the most out of these three so it seems like Dc/Wb likes him....although that might've changed after his movie became so hated.

-Wonder Woman has kinda 2 live action tv shows, 1 animated movie, no live action movie. She IS going to be in Man of Steel 2 (or whatever the name is) so that shows that Dc trust her, but not completely.

-And then there is the Flash, who probably wont get a live action movie now that he's getting a show. But there is still hope since the Arrowverse and the DCCU arent connected. He had a live action tv series and was the main character in Justice League The Flashpoint Paradox. I don't feel like Dc really trusts The Flash. And i believe Andrew Kreisburg once said, that they get the villains/heroes that Dc doesn't want in their live action movies:( ...and Flash gets his own show. coincidence?

Who do you guys think should get a movie first? Which one would be the most successful, and which one actually will get one if any.

'Should', 'Deserves', and 'Will' are three very different questions.

'Should', as in 'getting their own movie would most benefit the endeavor'? Probably Wonder Woman. She has a distinct enough mythology that it'd be really useful to intro her in her own movie before JLA.

'Will', as in 'is likely to get their own movie beforehand'? Insofar as I believe anyone will, the Flash. WB seems to really want to push the Flash these days, and the Flash lacks Wonder Woman's crippling flaw of "is a woman." Yes, I am that cynical.

'Deserves'? Is a loaded, and largely meaningless, question.

Which solo movie should come first - Wonder Woman. Although, with the casting of Gal Gadot, I'm not sure DC/WB intend for Wonder Woman to ever have a solo movie (although they could surround her with A-Listers as Hipplyta, Steve Trevor, Etta Candy, etc).

Which solo movie will come first - None. If I had to guess, DC/WB intend to introduce and build every character other than Superman as part of a "team up" movie first and then possibly spin those characters off with their own solo movies. After Man of Steel 2 guest-starring Batman with special appearances by Wonder Woman and Flash (?) and Nightwing (?) and Martian Manhunter (?), I'm guessing we'll either see a Trinity film or a complete Justice League film (although the new Batman will more than likely immediately get a solo movie).

Which solo movie would be the most successful - That's a difficult question. I personally believe that Wonder Woman would be the most successful IF Gal Gadot does well in the role and IF it is a good movie with a decent script, great action and an enthusiastic and talented director. I think Wonder Woman has the most potential because she's well known and widely recognised as *the* iconic female superhero, but still almost "brand new" in terms of live-action entertainment.

The Flash will have his own TV series and studios seem to believe that the public won't pay to see a character on the big screen which they can see on the small screen for free. With Green Lantern, it would be hard to overcome the generally negative reaction to the first film, although I think it's possible even if they do keep Ryan Reynolds in the role. I think Aquaman would be a hard sell and I'm not sure the current state of CGI is good enough to support a film which would require a majority of scenes underwater.

I think Martian Manhunter and Cyborg have the potential to be surprise hits, but I don't their ticket sales would approach a well-made Wonder Woman film.

We probably won't get any before JLA, and I don't think they're 'needed'. I actually thought the best route would be to debut WW, GL, Flash, etc in the JL movie itself to give the Justice League a big draw.

But in terms of 'deserving' one, I guess WW, then Flash, then GL.

In terms of personal preference, I'd go WW, then GL(John Stewart), then Flash, who's luckily already going to be on TV in 2014 (which I'm stoked for. TV>movies), and will have great VFX in the JLA movies as well, which will be awesome to see.

Is that word really the only thing you read? Haha. And 'Deserves' was the wrong word to use. But i meant it as 'should' and 'will'....Just saying

No i think that was an appropriate word to use. If any of these characters deserve a movie it's Wonder Woman. She's the number 1 female superhero. I'd say she deserves a movie

Thanks man. And even though Flash is my favorite i have to agree, the world needs a Wonder Woman movie first.

Who "deserves" a movie? Wonder Woman, without a doubt. Flash should get one as well, but AFTER Wonder Woman. Who "will" get one, probably none of them. I imagine that they might get solo films AFTER JL, but not before.

WW. then the flash. GL can wait till later. after jl.

Pretty much this, but I'm partial to the Flash so I voted him. In reality, I don't think we'll see any of them in solo films until after Justice League... provided Batman vs. Superman pulls decent numbers.

The Flash of course. :D

Yeah, yeah, I know people will say WW should be first and she's part if the trinity, but if most of you are honest with yourselves you'll realize you only want to see her because of her place/significance in comics, akin to collecting all the pieces of a set of toys just for the sake of having the set, not because of genuine interest in the character. Which is not a knock against her either it's just if I have a choice to see a Flash, GL, WW, Aquaman, or Martian Manhunter movie, Wonder Woman is probably going to be at the bottom of that list for me, because honestly, while I want her to be there and believe she is necessary and important, I don't really give a **** about her and am uninterested in her as a character, and I think many other people probably feel similarly about her. Like really, who honestly gives a **** about WW? Like I think it should happen and I'll support it and I'll be there opening night to watch it but do I care about Wonder Woman other than just having her there like a pillar just because that's the way it's supposed to be? Nope. Not really.

So yes. Give me a Flash film over WW any day and maybe a GL reboot before her - I won't complain at all.

(Likelihood for just about any of these happening though is ZERO...good fun though, guys)

IMO, Wonder Woman should be the biggest priority of the three, even though she's in Batman vs. Superman. I'd prefer if she received an origin movie before Justice League.

Especially with Flash (probably) getting a new TV show, a movie before JL isn't mandatory. By the time JL or a Flash film comes out, people will be familiar enough with the character thanks to the show. So, a Wonder Woman movie pre-JL and Flash post-JL would be the best solution, I think.

As for Green Lantern, it shouldn't be a priority until after JL. Introduce a new version of the character, and if the GA likes him, have him star in a GL reboot.

WW of course. I cannot see Flash being a big enough draw at the box office. A tv series should be sufficent for him.

Thats simple. WW. Biggest female superhero, 3rd in the trinity, 3rd DC hero.

While I also want a Flash movie most and prefer him to WW, I don't think it's fair or accurate to say "no one cares about Wonder Woman". That's most certainly not true - plenty of people care... out of a genuine interest in the character as well. She's pretty cool, watch her 2009 animated movie and tell me that it wouldn't be cool to see a live action movie of her.

But I most certainly don't foresee Green Lantern getting a movie before Wonder Woman. The president all the way down to Zack Snyder seem hyped up for her. They have a casting and a first appearance lined up, it should be a simple matter to commission a script to be written if she proves successful in 2015. Green Lantern has no such things - support from execs OR a casting. Reynolds is out so they'll have to hunt for a new Hal/John/whoever.

I personally think it could be cool to introduce him the way that they introduced War Machine and will introduce Falcon. They could put him in with the Flash in a sequel if that franchise takes off. Even if it's a one-off cameo, it'll help mold the new vision for the character if they show him off alongside a character that was received better by audiences. At least in my mind. I hope they don' scrap the character altogether - that'd be a shame.

None of them "deserve" films, they're not rewards. It's all just dependent on how they intend on structuring a Justice League film.

Wonder Woman is appearing in Batman Vs Superman, this could swing either way on how they intend to use her in Justice League. Given she is introduced in BVS, she could perhaps be introduced straight away with little explanation as she has already appeared to the audience.

Barry Allen is rumoured to have a cameo in BVS too, however, Barry Allen will have appeared in two tv series before the film comes out. From a business perspective it could make sense to distance him from his televisual counterpart.

Green Lantern is in drastic need of rebooting in regards to this universe. His last film
was deemed a failure so he needs to reintroduced in a more fitting way. However, he seems to be in a similar position to the Hulk in that sparingly he could be much more effective than spotlighting. So maybe going down the route of New Frontier in that Justice League doubles as Hal Jordan's origin is the best course of action.

If I were a businessman, I would say:

Wonder Woman is introduced in Batman Vs Superman, appears next in Justice League, if her character is well received then she can have a solo outing. The Flash gets the solo film on a budget comparable to that of Batman Begins, Hal Jordan appears. Green Lantern's origin is the tertiary plot of Justice League.

With them making superhero movies, some of them do deserve films.

I think The Flash if done right could be a very big draw at the box office, and either way I see him being bigger than Wonder Woman.

Give him a show and a movie. TV show does well give him a movie. Simple. More the merrier.

I don't disagree that it wouldn't be cool to see a movie of her, and her animated film was handled really well and ideally what they should do for a live auction film, or something similar at least, I liked the animated feature a lot, she just ranks low on my interest list and I find the other characters more interesting, accessible, and yes, easier to adapt. I also prefer WW to have a secret identity.

As much as I would champion a Flash film, I'd like to first see how he's used in television. Even though the CW programs are not canon, I'm interested to see their take on the character first, since they wrote and cast the character well. But,I would vote on a Wonder Woman film.
