[blackout]Vision can realistically be rebuilt without the stone in his white form. I think IW sort of hints they may be doing this. But the other 3 I think are dead for good. Gamora may fight Thanos within Soul World, but I don't think she will get a physical form again.[/blackout]

I could see [BLACKOUT]Vision becoming his more robotic "non-Wanda loving"version. But I still would like to see Gamora and the Jarvis version continue on in one form or another, even as cosmic level entities. [/BLACKOUT]

Ha yeah all the deaths hit hard for me. I realize there have to be stakes but I honestly couldn't decide who should or should not stay dead. I'll leave it to the writers.

Personally though I'm really aggravated about Heimdall (who seems to lead this list along with Loki so I'm probably the only one who cares). He was finally in position to have a bigger role in a future Thor film (no Bifrost to guard) but alas it was not to be.

Idris' was going to be pricey to retain if he even wanted to continue playing supporting role. I would be fine with Mr. Elba coming back in another MCU role.

Really only Heimdall. Loki should remain dead for the foreseeable future but there could always come a time when the trickster could/should return. I didn't tick the Black Order purely because I wouldn't mind seeing Ebony Maw return at some point. Gamora I think could be inside the Soul Stone as payment and end up coming back, and the rest will probably return in Avengers Four. I do believe that there should be a cost in the next movie though, and some of the original six should stay dead.

Every pre-snap death except Gamora.....I would like some kinda soul stone exchange to bring her back...not ready to say goodbye yet. Maybe Cap or IM takes her places

He was the last line against Hela for a long time on Asgard and he was just so impressive. He deserved better than watching everyone he saved get slaughtered, so I will stand with you on 'can we get Heimdall back, too?'

After Infinity War, I'm so shaken, I'd kinda like a happy ending for once. (age of Ultron, civil War and infinity War have all had somewhat bad endings) Vision comes back marries Wanda and has kids, Gamora comes back for GOTG3, and somehow none of the other Avengers die. Hahaha, I can dream.

I am expecting both Vision and Gamora to return because his mind and her soul are contained within two of the stones. And I am fine with that so long as both are significantly altered by the experience. I don't want the mind and soul stones slapped back on their broken bodies and have them return exactly like before.

At the very least I would like to see them changed by the experience, perhaps with Vision adopting a colder personality and Gamora becoming a gem wielding powerhouse. One idea is to have Vision and Gamora evolve into cosmic level beings, perhaps even leaving their teams and loved ones behind to form the Infinity Watch. That would maintain the stakes of their respective deaths without losing two great characters.

is it weird that I want vision to actually feel like an android and not have any emotional connections with anyone?

Agreed

There is only one choice. Starlord deserves to die more than any other character in movie history for what he did.

Loki, Heimdall, Gamora, Children of Thanos, Vision, Wanda, Falcon, Bucky and Hill.

Erik Killmonger voted twice.

In my book happy endings mean endings that don't make 10-year-old me heart-broken, i.e. endings in which no one dies. So so far all MCU movies have had happy endings for me (no offense but I don't really care for what's-his-name in AoU that had 10 minutes of screen time before). Infinity War is only the first half of a story so that's basically at the end of arc 2 of a movie, so it doesn't count. I still need to see the next movie to judge whether it has happy ending.

I loved vision but I might be fun to bring in Jocasta. It’s an interesting twist on using his brainwaves but in an original way. Plus more women avengers is always cool.

I still want to see drax live up to his rep as the destroyer. But I guess in the movie verse he’s wasn’t made in a lab for killing thanos?

Yeah. Should swap his soul for gamora's. But it won't happen. Pratt confirmed he's filming GOTG3, soon. Lol, pretty much confirms that all the dusted characters will be resurrected.

I hope Loki, Heimdall and Vision stay dead. I'd like it if Gamora was brought back from the dead in Avengers 4, a mate of mine who saw the film shared a theory he had for how that could happen. To acquire the Soul Stone you have to kill a loved one. So if you destroy the Soul Stone, whoever was killed to get it in the first plave would theoretically be brought back from the dead.

Not necessarily. Her soul is in the soul stone, yes. But her physical body died (see giant green puddle under her head). Unless being released makes her a new body, I am thinking dead.

Well we will have to just wait and see what happens in Avengers 4.

[BLACKOUT]I wholeheartedly believe all the snap deaths will come back to life in some way. Some are more obvious than others (Spidey, Black Panther and Strange) but I'm sure we'll see them all come back. Though I'd love to see Agent Hill stay dead because she's as interesting as beige wallpaper.

As for the others... I feel like Loki has run his course and died in a heroic (albeit completely stupid) way. Did he seriously think he could kill Thanos with a damn knife? I'm sure it was magic or whatever but... come on. And as much as I hated Infinity War adhering to the "black man dies first" cliche (sort of... a bunch of other Asgardians technically died first but we didn't actually see them die), I feel like this death needs to stick because Elba is wasted in the role and very likely wants to move on to better things.

Gamora, on the other hand, I think HAS to come back. The Guardians simply aren't the Guardians without her and I don't think GOTG Vol. 3 will be good without its most important female cast member. And I think that perhaps if we look at Gamora as inevitably coming back, we may see clues as to how all of the "snap" heroes get revived. I know people are assuming Strange (or someone else) will somehow use the Time Stone, but I don't think that's how it will happen. I think we'll follow the heroes that died in the afterlife, and they'll meet Gamora there and somehow bring her back with them. Maybe not, but I feel like Strange's "one" scenario involves the heroes fixing things from beyond the grave.[/BLACKOUT]

Good point about coming back if altered significantly. I agree with the above and it's the only way either Vision or Gamora should be brought back. Vision is the one I really want as Gamora's death was too important and done too well.

I really want Vision to come back. No need to replace him with a much less endearing and iconic android.

In Age of Ultron, eagle-eyed fans saw Jocasta's name among the computer chips that Tony took Friday from :D

Gamora definitely shouldn't come back in A4. Let returning her from the soul stone world be a plot or subplot of GotGV3. If Vision comes back I hope it's in someway related to Wonder Man arriving in the MCU as it would be a nice call back to the comics and their related history. Maybe Simon Williams's mind is used as a stand in/template for the consciousness of the mind stone that is now gone that needed to mix with the others to create a complete Vision and it alters his personality somehow...hell, I dunno. Obviously all the dusted folks are coming back. Heimdall and Loki can stay dead though. I know Elba has no desire to return.

According to the Russo Brothers, Thor had a chance to kill Thanos too but he didn't because he wanted Thanos to feel pain for what he did to his people (hence Thanos told him that he should've "went for the head"). Star Lord may be to blame but he also lost many people in his lives, and losing Gamora made him unhinged and lost his composure. This is why I like Marvel heroes; they're flawed like any other human beings, and not perfect all the time (like some other superhero team I won't mention).

I like that idea. Maybe GOTG Vol. 3 will be equivalent of the 3rd Star Trek movie The Search for Spock, but in this case it's "The Search for Gamora Inside A Soul Stone".

seriously who are the people who want Falcon to stay dead?

It's not the actresses' fault that Hill is literally a cameo role that they haven't given her more to do.

I figure Elba was contracted by the MCU and saw this as opportunity to fulfill that. They def gave him a bigger role in Ragnarok and it was still a supporting part.
