That would be amazing, Dread! The Master Planner story is one of my favorite Spidey stories of all time.I love all the hints and homages and whatnot thrown into the episodes, that will go over the heads of the target audience, but many older fans will appreciate.
Wouldn't it be great if this could be the cartoon to finally at least homage Ditko's last great run on ASM, the Master Planner story with that infamous "weight of the world" segment? Hell, I've seen BATMAN BEYOND homage it. May as well let the ol' web slinger get it back.![]()
seriously? (I haven't been reading much in the way of spoilers)they probably will since he is the big man.
Yup, in the comics he was.seriously? (I haven't been reading much in the way of spoilers)
Indeed, and I really do expect to see the Big man in this season or next season.Yup, in the comics he was.
Ah, thanks!Yup, in the comics he was.

I hope they stuck with Ditko's design with the statue-like mask, if we do see Big Man that is.Indeed, and I really do expect to see the Big man in this season or next season.![]()
Yeah, the mask was white with some cloth behind it, which would be really cool to see. I always found it cool how we really couldn't see the Big Mans' face at all except for his eyes.Sure thing! ^

This is something I can't wait to see. Stan Carter becoming the Sin-eater and possibly doing in his partner Jean Dewolf. I wonder how that little gem will play out.Stan Carter.
They most certainly will, if he turns out to be BigMan.Foswell was a nice touch. I hope they use him more.
Agreed, I'm so excited just thinking about it!This is something I can't wait to see. Stan Carter becoming the Sin-eater and possibly doing in his partner Jean Dewolf. I wonder how that little gem will play out.
Yeah. it's nice to see some of these characters and stories come to life. Who'd of thought we would ever get Stan Carter animated.Agreed, I'm so excited just thinking about it!![]()
t:Yeah, that's one of the things that will makes this show most likely the greatest Spidey show ever.Yeah. it's nice to see some of these characters and stories come to life. Who'd of thought we would ever get Stan Carter animated.t:

Yeah, the build up to what the charatcers will become or face in their life.Foswell/Big Man in a way shows that it was kind of a blessing that Kingpin wasn't involved, because it forced the writers to go to another mobster type who hasn't been animated and can easily fill the role. Big Man predates ol' Fisk by about a decade or so, anyway.
And yeah, the Master Planner storyline was boss. Spider-Man practically lifting a building to save Aunt May when he desperately needed to is one of those moments that was cool on panel but animated with a proper score could be flippin' EPIC.
I mean, I seriously doubt the writers will be quick to kill off Gwen (I hope they aren't, actually; the poor girl is now defined only by death to the point that many forgot what a vibrant character she was), so they'll need some other stuff to do in the meanwhile, and that's always a doozy.
I like that Norman Osborn is a more willing participant in the organized crime biz here. I mean the 90's handled him brilliantly, but in the original material, Goblin WANTED to organize the underworld (for whatever reason), so this fits in with that.
Frederick Foswell.
Norman Osborn telling his son what to do.
Robbie Robertson's son.
Alex O'Hirn and Flint Marko...together.
Anna Watson's niece who has a "good personality."
This show is jam-packed with stuff, and I am loving it. Is anybody else going gaga over how awesome this show is, and how they are setting the potential up for it to be great? I am!
Stan Lee and Steve Ditko should be proud.

The hints deepen the story and make it even closer to the comics.
I think the better question is who doesn't love the hints.
I just can't describe hom much i like this cartoon, everything they are doing with it so far has been spectacular(yes, the pun was intended)
I don't know why, but I thought that was really funny.
And also, I agree.
thanks, like spidey, i try to be a wisecraker too sometimes( i could talk about how wisecraker could be a joke but then that would cause racial issues so i'll just be quiet about that)I just can't describe hom much i like this cartoon, everything they are doing with it so far has been spectacular(yes, the pun was intended)
