Damn excellent film.

A definite must-buy, and I'm also looking for the book that inspired it, "Who Censored Roger Rabbit?"

There were supposed to have been more cartoon characters in the movie. The only one I can remember off-hand is Popeye. But his owners wouldn't sign off on it. That's too bad. A couple more cartoon characters would've only made the movie cooler.

Very true. On the one of the documentaries on the DVD, one of the creators says a character like that would only be possible animated. With that waist and that chest...if there were such a woman, she wouldn't be able to walk upright.

The first disc (family friendly) is has more kid stuff--the cartoons they made for it, more kiddy behind the scenes looks, that kind of stuff. The second disc has more behind the scenes stuff, including the commentary.

Also, the family friendly one has the movie in fullscreen, while the enthusiast one is in widescreen.

Anyone else agree? Ofcourse you do. it's one of the most fun movies ever made. Well acted, beautifully animated and clever aswell.

You guys won't believe this, but I've yet to watch "Who Framed Roger Rabbit".

It came out during a hectic time in my life and I didn't have much time for leisure pursuits.

I'll have to rent the DVD and give it a chew. Sounds great from what you guys are saying.

The movies that tried to do it failed miserably.

You will also never see all those animated characters on the same screen ever again either.

To me there is no greater moment in cinematic history than Daffy Duck finally going at it and meeting Donald Duck in a duel.

The problem with saying that, though, is that the only movies that tried to do that are the newer Looney Toons movies--and you know you have some problems when the best one of it has the main character being MICHAEL JORDAN.
