Who Gives a S*** Less: Harrison Ford or Bruce Willis?

OT: But eh I wouldn't because isn't that just life though? Most 9-5 office jobs even at mid level are easier than service industries, teaching, janitorial, physical labor jobs. ANd the office workers still get paid a lot more. I don't think you need to feel ashamed about that.

Sure, below the line people will always get paid less than celebrities, and someone like Willis has earned being paid a lot, but in this case, if a disproportionate amount of money goes to an actor over a crew that is being paid poor non union wages it can become a problem. It's a big problem in the industry, especially production companies who cut corners to save costs at the expense of the crews.

I mean is Bruce Willis and Ford getting large paychecks and making crap any different then Liam Neeson making the same low budget crap over and over? I feel Liam Neeson phones it in most of the time in his later years since maybe the Grey.

For every bad low budget thriller, Liam Neeson usually makes a good film in between.

The Grey
A Walk Among the Tombstones
A Monster Calls
Silence
Ballad of Buster Scruggs
Cold Pursuit
Ordinary Love

Call me insane guys but I kinda want ONE MORE Die Hard movie, something to have him go out on a high note with. Like, I would take it back to basics, a modest budgeted claustrophobic action thriller with McClane trying to defeat terrorist in a confined location. Bring back Reginald VelJohnson or Samuel L Jackson as his partner and have the two of them team up. But of course only if Willis actually puts effort into it and gives a performance.

I unapologetically kinda love Live Free or Die Hard. It shouldnt be a Die Hard movie but as a Bruce Willis action film on its own its wildly entertaining. But Good Day to Die Hard was just straight up garbage.

Well,Today, Bruce Willis Was given HIS OWN CATEGORY At The Razzies. Worst Movie Made By Bruce Will in 2021. I think that says it all.

Agreed on both counts.

Are there rumors Willis has early onset dementia? Take it with a grain of salt, it's all pretty loose and somewhat circumstantial, but there are some anecdotes that makes me wonder. I always chalked this up to him being a lazy prick who just made an easy buck, but it could explain some of this behavior.

The RLM guys covered that in their most recent video after their (awful) intro skit.

OK Magazine - 'They Know He's Fading': Bruce Willis 'Made Truces' With His Family As 'Dementia Fears' Plague The Father-Of-Five (January 2021) (this is the rumor mill - you can find gossip going back to at least 2017 about it online and his use of an earpiece while performing on stage)

I feel bad for the guy if it's true and it might not be. But true or not the guy's getting paid for doing the bare minimum working days and getting paid millions in the so-called 'geezer teasers'. Good for him but not the audience.

Bruce Willis “Stepping Away” From Acting After Aphasia Diagnosis – The Hollywood Reporter
"This is a really challenging time for our family and we are so appreciative of your continued love, compassion and support," said the actor's family in a statement posted Wednesday.

Bruce Willis is “stepping away” from his acting career after being diagnosed with aphasia, which leads to the loss of ability to understand or express speech, his family said in a statement posted to social media.

Damn Bruce.

I hope he deals with it well.

Razzies should probably change that award

Thanks for the fun times at the movies over the decades, Bruce.

Damn. So the tabloid stuff about him having dementia wasn’t too off

It's majorly disappointing but probably also explains why he has taken so many terrible movie roles over the last several years. I know his reputation in Hollywood but this explains it better what has been going on.

Bruce Willis fading away like this is not how I expected his career to end. At least we know he will get the treatment he needs.

RLM talked about Bruce's recent work a couple of times, before and after rumours spread. As they said, no-one will remember or care about the crappy films he made recently, just the classics he contributed to in a solid career. There's nothing scarier to me than these conditions that strip away your faculties. I wouldn't wish it on anyone. I hope he's happy and loved and looked after.

Understandable to have it posted in this thread, but I'm a little uncomfortable with this topic with this new information. Guess it's a reminder that we never really know exactly what's going on in another person's life.
