Arnold and Jackie

John wayne sucks IMO.

Tony Jaa is better than Jackie Chan in every conceivable way. Does all his own stunts (Jackie has stunt doubles), no wire work (Jackie uses wires), no cg and choreographs every fight scene in all his movies and has the best brutal fighting techniques you'll ever see.

Never thought I'd be saying Arnie in a 'best' something poll, lol.

But yeah, he would actually eat the others, as well as spanking HULK!

"You're sister is dieing!" hillarious arnie line, but from what film people.......?

Jackie Chan

y'know it's funny, jackie chan isn't my favorite of the 'big' martial arts actors, in fact he's towards the bottom of my list... ironically, though, that's easily my favorite martial arts fight scene. i can't think of anything taht tops it.

He was cool in the `80s but sucks now! :csad:

dude, just admit you're prejudice against asians :cwink: :woot: j/m

Tony Jaa is f***in' fantastic, but he hasn't reached star status like Jackie has. not to mention Jackie is already 53, so it's not exactly like he can do the same movements and stunts that he could when he was 23 or 33 or even 43. if Tony Jaa keeps pushing the action further and further the way he's been doing and manages to achieve international stardom like Jackie did then he might be able to surpass him but Jackie has done more in his career than Tony Jaa has so far...

...food for thought, Tony Jaa idolizes Jet Li, Jackie Chan, and Bruce Lee.

lady dragon herself
CYNTHIA ROTHROCK

Bruce Willis? What did he make besides Die Hard,The Sixth Sense and Sin City? Not much. Arnold Schwareneger? probably,The Terminators,Preditor,True Lies,Total Recall,He's one of the best but not "the" best action stars. Eastwood? No. a few good westerns and Dirty Harry is about it...great director though. Harrison Ford..."The Best" From Star Wars,The Fugitive,Indiana Jones,Ford is the definative hollywood action star.

Tony Jaa isn't fit to even lick Jackie Chan's boots at this point. Jaa is the new age Van Damme. He has a nice acrobatic act but every fight scene it's wash, rinse, repeat cycle. He uses the same old moves just like Van Damme used to do. When the guy does something more intricate than knocking down stunt guys lining up to take a hit let me know.

- Arnold Schwarzenegger
- Harrison Ford
- Bruce Willis
- Bruce Lee
- Jackie Chan

My undisputed favorites (in no order).

I didn't realize that there was so many Jews at the Hype! No love for Mel Gibson. :csad:

Chan's movies are WAY better!

All depends on what you consider action and how many movies they have to kick ass in before they can be taken as an action star, with that said...

Tom Cruise
Steven Seagal
Chuck Norris
Chow Yun Fat

The Godfather of action movie actors may be retired but he is the king. Lets see how many actor could last as long as he did.
Sean Connery.
