...of threads complaining endlessly about minor cosmetic deviations from the comics?

...of casting threads that continue to get hits even after the movie has wrapped?

...of re-casting threads?

...of casting threads in general?

...of reading post after post on how movies that you like suck & you're an idiot & a tool if you think otherwise?

You just described about half of all the threads in the entire Hype.

I am pretty tired of those damn re-casting threads. Depending on the movie, some boards on the Hype! are littered with them.

While I don't want to tell someone else where they can and can't post, it does become annoying how people who can't stand a movie seemingly can't divorce themselves from talking about it.

Oh, I agree old buddy, and surely the most annoying of all is the near-endless use of the word 'reboot'.

Yes, these threads are the reasons why I take long breaks from these forums.

I've wholly avoided movie-based forums for over a year, only venturing into them once or twice.

also whats this iron man versus batman begins. i like both just as much .

For some reason, a vast majority of people on the Hype! believe it's impossible for more than one superhero blockbuster to be successful in one summer.

I don't get that either. Why single out those two? Is it b/c they both center on rich playboy types?

Yes i am tired of this. After being here for 5 years I just avoid all the stupid threads people start.

The problem is, intelligent threads somehow turn into recasting threads & such.

as tired of most of those as I am I try not to get huffy about them. they tend to keep a lot of the same company, and keep said company out of the other threads.

More like it's impossible for more than one to be good. Hence the endless tiresome "Marvel vs. DC" threads. Don't get me wrong; comparison is fine. We all like to uphold our favorite publisher but don't get it twisted. There's no war going on. The "rivalry" aspect has been blown way out of proportion-especially since 2006. These posters make it seem like if "Dark Knight" makes more money than "Iron Man", Marvel's gonna go out of business. Or if "The Man Of Steel" fails to outperform "Wolverine", DC's just gonna be wiped off the face of the Earth.
ANother thing that's getting old is a lot of posters' inability to talk about how much they like one movie without feeling the need to trash another one that has nothing to do with the discussion at hand.

Recasting threads are dumb. Casting threads are fun, but some people take it so seriously especially when someone uses reasoning instead of just name dropping and people just write no or stupid when they could just as easy discuss/debate which is what Im here for in the first place.

And when people do voice negative opinions they rarely recognize objectivity in regards to others opinions. But the same works for people who voice a reasonable negative comment about a movie that has lots of positive opinions. They usually get reemed for going against the grain in general.

YES! and for some reason they always have to make two hero blockbusters compete. "Iron man will make so much more than Dark Knight" Why do people choose sides. I usually see every movie i want regardless of what I have already seen.

I have seen Narnia, Speed Racer, Iron Man and Indy 4 and i loved them all is that so bad? I mean Im going to the movies to enjoy them not to beat the competition, I give my money to the theaters so that the concept of a theater stays alive.

That's another killing part. I am a lifelong Marvel fan but that in no way prevented me from enjoying "Batman Begins"

or "V For Vendetta".

I wanted to enjoy "Superman Returns", but I just couldn't.

I´m really tired about this kind of thread, and is one of the reason why I don´t post here that much

I you din´t like a movie, then move to the next one, don´t keep complaining over and over about it

And why is so hard for some people to accept that some people might have liked it and they have the right to do so

Well put, Comicfan. That said, I THOROUGHLY enjoyed...

and

But every time I say so on these boards, I find myself having to not only defend them but myself as well.

Those movies sucked. You're an idiot. Also a tool.

j/k. I actually enjoyed the second Fantastic Four movie. I'll leave the rest alone.

I liked all of those. Well, except Hulk. I liked it the first time I saw it, but when I tried to watch it again recently I got so bored I turned it off before the dogs even showed up. It's just...so...slow...

And despite it's flaws (which were glaring) Ghost Rider was at least fun.

Apparently seeing as they started threads on the Ironman forum http://forums.superherohype.com/showthread.php?t=238947 . For some reason those Ironman fanatics want Ironman deperately to become Batman even though the only thing they have in common is their money.

Figures. I remember there was a slew of threads a while back about Marvel having their own "Batman " movie, in the form of either Moon Knight, Black Panther or Daredevil. I just rolled my eyes at that.
Tony Stark created his armor for-let's face it-selfish & self-serving reasons. He was trying to stay alive. Period. Afterwards he was trying to atone for the mistakes he'd made in his arrogant, self-serving career. Bruce Wayne wanted to pursue justice in light of a horrible tragedy that he witnessed at a tender, young age. The two have NOTHING in common apart from being rich. Except, of course, the playboy angle, which is a front for one & a way of life for the other. Tony is what Bruce pretends to be.
