true...but Silver was bruces first relationship with a woman that seemed like a relationship between two adults.

bruces other relationships werent really healthy. except maybe the one with vesper

I like the idea of him being with Selina, too. It's a shame Jeph Loeb broke them up so quickly. :down

The argument for Batman as a homosexual is a strong one. I can see where it comes from, but I think he's straight. No, I'm not homophobic, I just don't see him as gay.

I dunno. Emo people are practically gay.

I'd say it's a 5-way tie between the 3 robins, alfred and princess buttercup :D

Talia is the only one who makes sense. :o
Talia was the one relationship I always thought was total bull****. Why would a man who would never cross the line love a woman who would kill someone without a thought out of love for her father? He should be repulsed by her, not love her.

If there was one relationship that works, its the one with Selina. She gets him, in and out of costume. Silver, Vesper, they never understood that. Selina does.

I'm going to go with Talia. I remember reading Son Of The Demon years ago, great story. And despite it not being in continuity (until recently) I think that the relationship on display there was the real deal.

i dunno if you noticed or not but catwoman has killed before. your point is moot.

But Batman prefers relationships with children.
Yawn.
Seems to be a toss up between the current Robin and Nightwing.

Yawn.

For anyone who actually gives a **** about the question or the character, I personally think that Talia is the most likely candidate. I think that someone of Bruce's abilities and psychology is more likely to have lasting affection for a woman who is his equal, and who does not require his protection. Selina comes close, but has a habit of landing on her arse occassionally, and she is not Talia's intellectual peer.

It's true that, as a killer, Talia is "forbidden love" for Bruce, but I imagine that that might add to her allure. And for all her sins, she is a compassionate person.

For all the same reasons, I actually quite like the idea of Bruce and Wonder Woman. It makes perfect sense from his perspective, as he would never have to worry about her safety at all. It would also be a great mirror of Lois and Clark's relationship, with gender and power reversed.
