Don't know how Jack Kirby became Ruby Spears, but uhkay.

Jack Kirby was involvd with the creation of the show. The picture I was referring to I hadn't seen in a long time and I thought that Kirby drew it, but when I found the picture again, I was mistaken and it was Spears who drew the naked Ariel.

However, Kirby did do character designs for Thundarr durign the period of time that was p'o'd at Marvel.
