That is all irrelevant, lots of shock jocks have tone of conservatives friends and are respected in conservative circles (Rush, O'Rielly, etc) that doesn't make them deep political thinkers. Al Fraken is respected in liberal circles and I don't think he is that deep either. Her credits are not that impressive anyway, Ward Churchill became a professor and he is still an idiot. She has a law degree big deal, so did Johnnie Cochran. There are tons of small thinkers who get by and even thrive in our political system, I don't find out debating Maher that impressive and I am even less impressed by her ability to get on talk shows. Show me one serious essay she wrote, then I will consider her.
