John Walker a.k.a Super Patriot/U.S.Agent

I'm hoping this will be the case and it will be in the Bucky/Falcon series on Disney's streaming service...

...It would make a good twist for fans wanting to know which of the two, if either, will take over from Rogers as Captain America.
Walker gets brought in as the replacement Cap and by the end of the series becomes the US Agent with Wilson or Barnes taking over?

Not sold on Wilson or Barnes becoming Cap at the end of it, tbh. At least not if they're doing the whole Walker Cap/U.S.Agent journey thing.

If I recall correctly, Walker [as Super-Patriot] stated off with an agenda to bombard Steve with constant public criticism [via tv interviews and rallies] claiming that he was being too soft as Cap; that he was not strong enough either physically or mentally to do what was required in extreme times and that he was better equipped to be Cap, upon which Steve eventually became so disenchanted that he vacated the mantle. When Walker became Cap he was supposed to be 'a bigger, stronger, meaner Cap that would get the job done' but he ultimately found out that the burden of the mantle was too heavy [despite making some massive sacrifices - I mean, he missed his own parents funeral, who were murdered in front of him by the Watchdogs, to stake out on a mission] and he conceded that Steve was stronger that he originally thought and gave the shield back to him with his blessing. It was a classic moment for both characters - it gave much needed depth to Walker as well as also validating Steve at a time when his popularity was waning and his relevance was being questioned.

I just don't think you get a pay-off like that by giving the shield to Sam or Bucky - it has to be Steve, and thus Evans. But would Evans return for that?

I'm not sure how the story would pan out but when the Bucky/Sam series started being talked about I immediately thought it would be about exploring the legacy of Captain America after Steve Rogers. I could definitely see Cena as Walker being part of that in some capacity. I also think that Eli Bradley might get involved as well, as I am holding on to my theory that the Disney+ shows are building up to Young Avengers.

I know this is a Marvel forum, but seriously, Booster Gold. I think he was born to play that. He practically IS that.

John fits more in the DCEU than he would Marvel but if John Cena were to land a role in the MCU then I could see him playing Hercules

Good idea if they give this character an upgrade with John Cena playing it.

He could play a Walmart employee named John Whoishe that gets bitten by a radioactive baby and donning a cheap costume found in the toy isle will fight villains in the isles of the store and slash prices to become Isleman.

Just kidding of course I had to put that. Id like to see him play a character but not sure which one as most good ones aren't for him. My guess is he could play for DC or marvel but it's hard to figure out which character he would be good in. He could be a new Captain America not Steve Rogers but another one or Captain Britain.
