Keep in mind that whoever plays the part is gonna have to be pretty ripped. There ain't no armor chestplate to hide behind. That of course is the main difficulty. To find someone with the physique that can act. I do think that the costume will need to be updated though. You gotta make sure he doesn't come off like a gay alien leather fetishist.

Finally!!! Someone agrees with me!!! I don't really think much of Vin Diesel in a superhero role but this one he could do

I strongly disagree with those who say Laurence Fishburne. Although he has the facial features he does not have the build, he is too lanky. If he could put on 60 ponds of muscle I say go for it.

The choices of Christopher Judge and Michael Clarke Duncan are very intriguing.
