Batman Begins Who still likes/thinks Begins is better than TDK?

Oh, I certainly agree.

And he did. He was pretty scared.

No use.

That worked for Flass who was a coward and didn't know who or what Batman was (as no one knew for sure) or was what he capable of.

By the time of TDK everyone knew about the Batman non killing rule so Maroni could have felt uncomfortable with the upside down/shouting routine, but he was too sure Batman wasn't going to kill him. When Bats dropped him though, he pretty much felt that Batman had made an exception with him.

Maroni was not scared at all when Batman held him up about to drop him Maroni said the fall was not gonna kill him. I'm pretty sure they knew Batman was human by then.

Although its silly to thik he was not human dude in a battle suit. If he was super natural you think he wear a battle suit? No! I understand year one they was like who is this guy but year two come on obvious he human just a crime fighter. He no half human half vampire.

I'm pretty sure that's exactly what I said in the very post you quoted. Reading before replying man, that's the natural order.

That's why he couldn't repeat the shouting routine.

And Maroni was not scared. Untill Batman dropped him.

Ya' know. Thinking about it. I wish Gordon would have got more physical with Flass. Like in Year One. Him thinking about studying Flass' fighting style and then putting a beating on him made look at Gordon in a whole new light for the first time. He's still a bad ass in the movies don't get me wrong.

Yes.

It'd have been great to have Flass to start with. That fat eater was Flass in name only (same with Comm. Loeb). The real Flass could have gave us that side of Gordon.

Do you think it would be too late to do it in a third movie. Not with Flass of course. I'd love to see him show that side, but at the same time it might come off a little, "What the hell? Gordon? You're kicking ass now?"

It'd be a nice surprise for those who don't know Gordon's fight training.

Well sorry dude if i posted the same you did man. Anyways he still was not scared of him be told Batman off. He told him Joker was more scary them him now cause Joker had no rules and Batman did. Also he told Batman to take off the mask cause how many people was he gonna let die.

Yeah Gordon kicked Flass ass in the Year One comics. Didn't he strip him naked too in the park when he beat him up. But they said Gordon jumped Flass from behind and kicked his ass though? But still would of been cool to see in the movies.

Also Comm Loeb should of been that corrupt policemen from the coimcs too. That would of also been great to see.

Flass was a fat ass in Begins. In Year One, he's a big built guy, who used to be a green beret.

there are just so many great little scenes in batman begins. Like when bruce when is walking and stops to think about what he wants to do with his life after he talks to falcone. the music is just so perfect and epic. another one is when bruce goes after rachel. that music as he goes into the cave is amazing. There aren't too many scenes that do that for me in TDK

no scene in TDK did that for me, i loved Begins wayyyy more.... some fan edits of TDK were a lot etter then Nolans version

I recently downloaded the entire Batman: TAS and watched them all for the first time since I was a wee lad.

I really think that's the best interpertation of Batman. I miss his witty come backs like,

*lights go out*

Villans: "Hurry get 'em before he gets away"

....

Batman (in the shadows): "Who says I'm leaving"

And I'm just like, OHHHH SNAP!

Anyways, there was not to much, but I felt more of that spirit in BB than TDK.

I think all we really had in TDK was, "THEN YOU'RE GOING TO LOVE MEEEEEE!!!"

yea, i have all the episodes of TAS on dvd and the best part about it is the commentary with Bruce Timm and his people that worked on the series, they are always entertaining

Oh yeah, I'd love to hear that man. I use to just be a BB and TDK fanboy, thinking there was no other version of Batman better.

Then after watching those and picking up the comics I'm starting to see what some people are talking about. Still love the two movies...just in a different way now.

have you seen the last episode of TAS? it was incredible

TAS better then the movies. Be great if a Batman movie just was based off the television show.

Also I was wondered what it would be like if Steven Siegal played Ras Al Ghoul. Siegal can act and is a great fighter.

Scarcrow, no to Siegal. I like ya buddy...but no hahah.

Kane, I think the last episode was Judgement correct? Where Two-Face made a third personality. Yeah that was sick. At first I thought I wouldn't care for season 4 too much because of the redesign, but it was just as good and I liked all the redesigns except Catwoman. She felt way to anime to me.

My favorite episode was probably "Trial". That was so well written.

Ya know I'd be happy if Nolan didn't make a third live action film and just finished his trilogy with an animated film. That could solve the Joker problem easily.

some of the stuff that was in Nolan's batman had elements of the animated series

Yeah? Not saying it's false or anything but would you care to share?

I think Two-Face's origin right? Not sure what else.

well i meant the overall tone of TAS and Nolan's Batman
im just comparing all the TV shows that have made not the comics
the dark overtones of the two feels the same for me imo

Yeah I hear ya. And I agree.

I'd like to see Bale handled more like Bruce in TAS in Nolan's world though.

I might need to watch that series again. From what I remember I prefer any movie to it. Entertaining, yes? Darker than the usual kids cartoon? yes. But that's it.
