I don't. It's pretty easy.
I do legal transcription for the IDS and I'm able to work from home w/ only several weekly rendevous'.
I'm in the process of writing a novel, so it affords me a lot of flexibility.
Would you prefer to never have to do the weekly rendezvous? I mean, if you could spend that time writing your novel or sipping a nice drink on a warm beach would you rather be doing that?
While I think many people see their job as a necessary evil, it's only because people don't know what they don't know. If the company stopped paying, people wouldn't just show up because they love the atmosphere. 99% of people don't work because they just love the work, they work because if they didn't, they wouldn't be able to pay their bills.
There is no freedom in this Country without economic freedom. About 95% of the population here works some sort of a job making linear, active income. About 5% owns their own business or lives off an inheritance. That 95% controls about 20% of the wealth in this Country and the 5% controls the other 80.
Many people don't want to think about retirement because they can't fathom living 70% of the income they make now and most believe Social Security won't exist for them. 401K's do not provide the stability pensions do.
It's compensated slavery. You answer a bell and get up at a time you probably wouldn't if you didn't have to. You go sit in traffic with a bunch of other people that don't want to be there. You work until your allotted lunch time and you generally work with people you'd rather not spend your time with if given a choice. Then you get back in your car and ride home with those same people from the morning drive and their day sucked too. You go home and complain to your mate or friend about your day for two hours, eat dinner, watch tv, go to bed and the next day ... you get up and do the same thing.
