I do. When I was at the comic-con I was watching the trailer for Ultimate Alliance and was even more convicned that they could really make a highly successful all CGI Marvel film. I couldn't believe the quality of that trailer. Imagine an Infinity Gauntlet or Secret Wars film like that, or Namor, etc...Hell even a Spiderman or X-Men film would stand up there with the best of the live action ones if done right. Maybe the CGI still isn't quite that good to some of you but I was impressed. I can just imagine a 3d cgi Marvel film some time in the future just blowing us away. I also thought Monster House was a well made film though a bit cartoony the 3d was very well done and not a distraction at all. Most earlier 3d films I had seen were more irritating than fun. If you haven't seen the UA trailer check it out.

Marvel: Ultimate Alliance

I'm thinking they should do a new warrriors movie in cgi but the Skottie Young run.

Are you talking for DTV or a theatrical release? You think that material would carry a big budget CGI film?

I think it would be cool, but maybe Polar Express and the Beowulf movie style.

I DO LOOOOOVVVVVVVVVVVEEEEEEEEEEEEE THE CGI IN X MEN LEGENDS 2! That could have been a movie!

Only if it's as advanced as Final Fantasy type cgi.

I have a personal grudge against all-CGI animation. It killed the animatronics industry, and caused Michael Eisner to close down all of Disney's animation studios.

^ Disney is back on hand drawn animation again. Besides studios make what sell and CGI is impressive. Nothing wrong with tecnology. Making CGI art is...an art.

Yes to CGI. Like I posted in another thread, I'd love for Marvel to somehow get the rights to do a CGI version of "Micronauts".

Marvels not interested in making films outside the Marvel Universe unless they actually purchased the intellectual rights all together.

actually a power pack cgi wouldn't be a bad idea, the kids would love it and maybe the comimc fan will come out.

There's a great job for your info digging skills, Advanced Dark.

Try and find out for us who now owns the rights for Micronauts now that Marvel, Image Comics, and now Devil's Due Publishing have all made non-related Micronaut series that have been discontinued.

Marvel needs to stop wasting time on cartoon movies (and that's what CGI is good for...cartooning and special effects). We need a better focus on quality live-action blockbusters.

I'm on the fence; I'm never opposed to more Marvel film projects, but any film-animated or otherwise-is only as good as what's put into it. If it had the right writers & the right voice actors, and the right production designers, it could be great. If not, who cares?

I feel the same.

A movie's only as good as the people who make it.

If they did a big CGI project I would like it to be an anthology series on tv with very high production values, great writing, and snappy dialogue done by people who could bring these characters to LIFE!

That would be awesome.

I wanted Fantastic Four to be a Pixar type movie. Like the Incredibles. Problem is, nobody but Pixar could do it right and they already did, with the Incredibles.

That Marvel:AU trailer was awesome, but deep down I will always prefer big budget 2D films.
