The Dark Knight Rises Who wants Ventriloquist in this series?

I would see John Lithgow as the ventriloquist and Scarface's voice, it could be another ventriloquist villain act like "Magic" (1978) or "Pin (1988)".

I'd love to see Ventriloquist in this series as he can be a very interesting and twisted character. He's also a very believable character for this series tone. I could see him maybe showing up in the 3rd movie when all hell breaks loose whether he does show up or not is another topic. Imo Robin Williams would be the best choice for the role.

I made a thread about this ages ago...but what the heck I'll post anyway.

I think it would be great and would actually give The Ventriloquist the respect he diserves. So many Bat villains get pushed aside or not written the way they should in the comics and therefore become "B-list" or "C-list" villains because they aren't Joker or Two-Face.

Just think about it...the dude was born into a Mafia Family...there are so many possibilities with that. Combine that with the fact that in BB, Falcone is gone and his turf is up for grabs, it's an easy way to insert The Ventriloquist.

Robin Williams will be great for the role of playing The Ventriloquist.

I care less if Ventriloquist makes into live-action Batman movie, sorry but I find him lame. There is much better villains than him.

I think the Ventriloquist is an interesting villain, but I don't think Nolan is going to include him because he's ANOTHER character with a split personality disorder, much like Two-Face, and Two-Face is already going to be involved in both The Dark Knight and the third movie.

Sure, A LOT of Batman villains deal with duality, but the other problem with the Ventriloquist is tying the villain to the hero, Batman, in a personal way. As we know, the best villains are those that tie into some aspect of the hero's personality or personal life or pyschology. I don't see the Arnold Wesker/the Ventriloquist doing this really.
