Superman Returns Who would rather have direct Superman?

Huh?

Um.......Chris Nolan, just b/c he's a god.........but, if it meant we'd wait longer for BB2....forget it.

Bryan Singer. And then maybe Bryan Singer. After that, maybe Bryan Singer could take a shot at the series. And after that...

i would like to see what singer has done with the film
before i start talking about who else should have done it

Bryan Singer is already doing an amazing Job. The movie looks beautiful.

Bryan Singer is the man.
I think that another interesting choice would be Micheal Bay.

now common i don't see any reason why to close this. This is just to see who you rather have unless singer wasn't on board.

This is just another stupid pointless soon to cause negativity thread. Bryan Singer is directing the movie end of discussion.

I`d love to see Spielberg`s take on Superman. Or the guy from Forrest Gump. Or even Mel Gibson. That would be cool. But Bryan Singer is perfect too.

The most stupid question I have ever heard.

Of course SINGER!

A very limited poll.

Gore Verbenski or David Fincher would've been ideal.

Possibly J.J. Abrahams...I know his first draft wasn't very loyal to the comics, but apparently it was really well written and his second draft WAS loyal to the source apparently. Then again, Abrahams is a very good director. Even if the script absolutely sucked, I am quite positive Abrahams would've made a very good movie.

Honestly, I think Singer would do well, but I'd love to have seen (hypothetically) what someone like Rami and Favereau could have done with Supes

Favreau is who I voted for in the poll. He is a suprisingly talented director.

Deja Vu'd.

Anyway, how in the bloody blue blazes can you possibly have Brett Failured Ratner anywhere near this poll??? Are you balmy???

And how could you forget Frank Daranbont??

And he's a great writer too (ELf/Swingers) I think he might have taken the Superman story in a little more comic-booky direction...it would have been interesting...frankly I can't wait for Iron Man :D

This is actually the first I've heard of him doing Iron Man. That is great news

Yeah, he announced it about 2-3 weeks ago on his MySpace, and it cam out in news shortly after. He's casting an unknown, and is gonna make it an origin...I am pumped personally. Sounds like he wants it to spawn sequels too as he was talking about introducing the alcoholism in "later films"

lol...I'd like Ryan Singer to direct.

That's Bryan's lesser known brother....

Hmm..an unknown for Iron Man? Bad call on his part. Iron Man needs a big name to carry it. Its not the type of hero people just know. I really hope the studio either pushes Tom Cruise or Johnny Depp.

I really hope he goes the route of Ultimate Iron Man more than 616 Iron Man. I like Ultimate better.

I dunno....an unknown could work.

Ulitmate is cooler too, but.....do you think they'd have to do the whole origin too?

I mean...Blue Baby and all........lol....

The name Iron Man won't carry a movie though. I don't like an unknown for Iron Man.

Robert Zemeckis, Favreau, or JJ Abrams with the right script.

Maybe Wolfgang Petersen, who'll be directing BvS anyway.

Peter Jackson doing an adaption of Birthright.

Maybe they could have let an unknown do the movie, Donner was only famous for the Omen at the time. Let someone like Aaron Phillips try the sequel, he will be a hell of a director by then.
