I pushed for The Rock as Marvel in previous postings more than 6 month's ago. This question seems to get recycled every 6 weeks.

Works for me.
As to a kid that could match the look of Johnson-
There was a brother on the Sister,Sister show that used to be on Disney, supposed to be the younger brainier brother of the Mowry Twins. Depending on how fast he's grown up, he could do it.
Also, there was a kid on the old Wishbone series that was a good match for The Rock (I miss Wishbone).
Kids grow up fast these days, so they would probably have to look around for a new kid that resembles these kids.
My vote for Shazam, the wizard, has always been Omar Shariff.
(If you saw him in Monsieur Ibrahim or Hildago you would know what I mean).
He can play a comedic role, he can play a serious role and I think he'd play off The Rock wonderfully. They both know how to do tongue-in-cheek stuff and pull it off. This would complete the Egytian flavor.

Technically, Black Adam's the only one who needs to be Egyptian. Captain Marvel is the appearance of Billy's father, isn't it? So for Billy/Marvel ethnicity doesn't really matter.

What? Vosloo's too small for Black Adam. Captain Marvel and Black Adam should both be very, very big. The Rock and Patrick Warburton are pretty much the only actors mentioned who fit the body type perfectly and aren't dumb wrestlers... anymore. They'd both be perfect matches for eachother, as opposed to The Rock vs. Vosloo which would just look unfair.
