Who would you want to take over from Bendis on New Avengers/Mighty Avengers?

Brian Reed.

You're about to be banned, troll.

i'd like to see george perez and kurt busiek go back to the avengers..

I'm telling you Brian Reed.

You can tell when a run is going to suck so badly when people are already discussing who's going to take over when they've gone.

Why so set on Reed X?

You say that, but would you really want Millar on NA/MA?
People who complained about NA not being about big enough threats would have to be quiet, because if Millar is anything, he's big-scale.

I would have said PAD, but his recent Spidey run has been rather awful. And it has been a while since Young Justice. And frankly, I think alot of the big names (even the really capable ones like Bru) are overextened as it is. And while I love Slott (who doesn't) I'd wait to see how The Initiative turns out first. Even Bendis had one arc on DD before he wrote one of greatest runs in Marvel history. So my vote goes to Dwayne McDuffie. Not only has he proven himself within history of comics, but he's fairly fresh off of his long time role as producer/ writer of Justice League Unlimited, which I'd say is the pinnicle of superhero adaptations. Not only was every challenge larger than life on that show, but character relationships and continuity was incredibly tight as well. I'm more than sure he's capable of handling both the Fantastic Four and the New Avengers.

I'd rather see McDuffe save the Black Panther book from the horrible clutches of Hudlin.

(tearfully) A-Men, brother...

Of course, any junkie off the street who actually read Avengers through the 70s & 80s would do better than Bowel Movement Boy.
:doom:
