Oh wow. I go to create a fun little thread, not to be taken seriously, yet you do. Lighten up.Funny how you forget to comment on the other things I said.
Completely agree.
I'm more lika a punching bag than a *****ing bagGet a life you *****ing bags !
Brett Ratner - I will never forgive him for X3
Ben Afflack - Don't ask, I just don't like the guy
Paris Hilton - SHe should just be erased from life
We really need to create a Joel Schumacher thread. Just because everything else he's done has been excellent, but one flop and suddenly he's the fanboy anti-christ. A flop from 10 years ago. It don't make no sense.
It's wonderful how only the terrible producers are remember but no one remembers any of the worthwhile producers... And I can pretty much assure you, that behind every movie you love that you should thanking the producer for making it happen.
I'd say 3 flops: Batman Forever, Batman and Robin and Number 23.
No, I do remember producers.
I commend Jon Davison for taking a chance on Robocop
I praise Michael Uslan and Ben Melniker for getting Batman onto the big screen
Debra Hill for Halloween, and the late Moustapha Akkad for continuing it to the point where we can be given a new vision from Rob Zombie.
Gale Anne Hurd for what I consider to be the prime of Cameron's films (T1, Abyss, Aliens, T2)
Scott Mosier for the Kevin Smith films.
Allen Ladd Jr. for getting 20th Century to take a chance on both Alien and Star Wars.
And most recently Spielberg, whose enthusiasm I'm sure was one of the deciding factors in Transformers.
Don't misinterpret me, I'm quite aware of how hard producers work.
I was just pointing out a not-so-good producer scenario.
Another one is David Giler. If you've seen the Alien documenteries, you know exactly what I mean. He comes off as such a dick in those.

Batman Forever wasn't a flop by any means. True it's not the route I and the majority of Batfans would've taken after Returns, but it had a huge box office and unlike it's Mr. Freeze-filled counterpart, Forever is tolerable.
10 years ago was 97; he was talking about "B&R"
And I haven't seen Number 23, but it sounds like I don't have to.

Against.
The Paris bashing is getting really old.
eh...the way she's acted, her lack of responsibilities, and her consistent flaunting around of her supposed "fame" despite the fact that she's only famous for being a shallow, superficial and self absorbed floozie riding the coattails of her families' Hotel chain fortune...
Paris was asking for it. And I don't buy her sense of reform post-prison either...![]()
It is rather sad that she's the only person I'd consider to be widely and universally reviled. But she took it upon herself to act like a snobby b**ch all this time, so I feel no remorse whatsoever in all the bashing she gets.

Oh, come on!![]()
From what I hear, she's none of those things. One of my coworkers had met her one time for a modeling thing and said she was a really nice person.
Just because she's rich and grew up spoiled doesn't necessarily mean she's a ***** or that she's snobby.
Then why bother going to the trouble of setting up a "snobbish heiress" persona?
If she were really a nice person, she wouldn't have had to go to prison to come up with the idea "hey, I've got money and influence and I could actually do something significant."
