I actually didn't realize he was the director behind the films he was until I looked it up just now. I was a Darabont fan I didn't even know it. I do love Aronofsky though.

Frank Darabont anyday, love his movies, Shawshank, Green Mile, & The Mist all make it into my top 50 movies, first two make it into my top 20. I haven't loved a Aronofsky movie yet, Wrester was great & Fountain had merits, I'm not a fan of Requiem though.http://Requiem.gl

A Touch of Evil ( one of the greatest films ever though, I admit.) but still .
Anyway, the majority is always right. So Welles wins by a landslide.
