Almost feel like this shouldnt even have been called Avengers and simply Infinity War. It was more of a big MCU team up than Avengers film

Yep. I'm OK with the the screen time dispersion tho. If only the core Avengers would've had the most screen time, I'm not sure it would've allowed the Russos to tell the story they needed to tell and all of the new characters would've felt more like throw-ins I think. And then when consider part 2 as a totality, those that already had minimal screen time in part 1 that won't be in part 2 would feel even more insignificant to the story.

I disagree. If you asked any casual audience member if they were going to see 'The Great Gatsby' when it was released, they'd have said 'No, we're going to see Iron Man 3/Fast And Furious 6'. The Great Gatsby was simply Oscar bait.

I blame Ruffalo for most of that. He was just...just awful.

I agree I've watched the film multiple times and his scenes are mostly cringeworthy. Idk that he's ever topped his performance in Avengers 1.
