Whose Smarter than this Teenage?

I know what you were talking about...but BP's almost as much of a overbearing, pompous a$$ as Stark is lately, thus my comment.

I wasn't being serious... I thought the " :o " was the universal symbol for that.

I've seen this thread somewhere before. O.o

Yeah,..

We hashed this out early last year,.....

i think:

High E
Reed
Doom
Stark
Sinister
Banner
(insert Choi here I guess)
Thinker
Pym
Beast

After that a slew of heroes who are only brilliant in one area,.. two at the most.

XD That'd be emo.

My mom pretty much "lost interest" (paid more attention to my twin) when I decided to pursue a scientific lifestyle. And then my dad just got pissy and jealous when I decided to enter pretty much into the same field he operates in.

It's not that they don't get me. (Maybe my mom doesn't, but that's because the only way she got through life was via her body) It's more like we decide not to get along.

A scientist friend of Reeds who super evolved himself and dubbed himself the Futurist had super intelligence and vast psionc powers would be above Reed and Doom as well.

Actually, there was a woman who was as smart as Reed, but I don't remember her name.

Try not to cut yourself with all that high school angst.

lol Funny. We're not like some dysfunctional family, we just step on each other's toes quite often. (Purposely when it comes from me.)

And it's just characteristic of most upper class French homes. Family's that just do their own individual things inside of the family.

What's with all the thinking that the things that make you you are because you're French. Like the rest of world doesn't know what you're talking about.

France, like America, just has different ways of doing things in societies.

The average French family is extremely argumentative amongst themselves, where American families pretty much argue quite a bit, but only out of pent up anger and problems.

In fact, French people argue amongst themselves almost like a pass time, where Americans do not.

The same differences are evident in places like China, Japan, Greece, Spain, Germany, Italy, England, Russia, and several other places. Could you honestly place your society in the same habits as Italy?

Where do you get this stuff? Americans only argue out of pent up anger? That's quite a generalization. Not to mention completely false. We argue about anything and everything because of anything and everything. Just like any other society.

Kind of sort of. It's more like petty bickering that starts long term problems. While you DO argue, it's not really... how should I put it... a true argument. It's more like... hmmm... explaining this is harder than I thought. You guys let it get under your skin.

The French use arguments more like social norms, similar to how Americans poke fun at each other without any long standing problem.

And it's not completely false. While you guys argue, that's hardly what I would use as a basis to compare French and American societies as being similar enough to justify that I'm not much different based on me being from an entirely different culture.

And before we forget, let's remember is was I who was right about the Patriot Act. So assuming I know very little about Americans would be foolish. :o

First of all, you were not correct about the Patriot Act. In fact, I seem to remember you conceding defeat.

Secondly, you seriously need to get out and actually be around Americans and American families before you start making gross generalizations. I mean really, you've been here how long?

I remember admitting I was wrong before Funeman came in with a link to the Patriot Act confirming I was indeed right, and then decided not to pursue it further, as it would cause further unnecessary conflict.

As for my time in America, I've lived here before. At least a few years the first time, this will be another year. And in all truth, I'm hardly one to make gross generalizations about entire cultures like some base racist. It's your cultural norm.

And you say you have no patience,..........

LOL

Mistress, Funeman posted a link to a site that confirmed your being incorrect. You can argue semantics all you want. You're saying you're right because you specifically used the word "unlawful" rather my word of "illegal". If you want to play semantical games, fine. The prefixes of both words mean "not". So "not legal" and "not lawful" essentially mean the same thing. Even Black's Law Dictionary defines unlawful as being, "not authorized by law; illegal". Catch that? Both acts get you into the same amount of trouble. Unless you're George Bush. Then you get away with everything.

Also, you said the first true statement of this entire debate: It's your cultural norm. You're right, it is the norm here to make gross generalizations and to stereotype entire cultures with the intent of racism. I'm not saying that's what you're doing. Just saying that you are in fact making gross generalizations about things you have very little experience with.

A great portion of the Hype community is American. A great portion of the Hype community argues (kind of like what you and pj are doing right now). Do you think that the majority of these people are arguing because of "pent up anger and problems"?

And what exactly is your basis for these statements? TV sitcoms?

I got into a vicious argument with my Dad because I told him Nick Cage's movie "Next" was stupid.

I once punched my brother in the throat over the correct pronunciation of the word nuclear.
