Whose Smarter than this Teenage?

You know, I was just thinking about this while listening to the radio on the way home today. NPR was airing an interview with this post-doctorate scientist about some kind of squirrel that had evolved an unusually effective intimidation defense against rattlesnakes, and the guy said "irregardless." I cringed and literally yelled, "Come on, you're a ****ing doctor!" at my radio. I know the two fields are not related at all, and I know it's perfectly feasible for someone to be a complete prodigy in science or math but have terrible grammar or writing skills, but I think subconsciously I did dock the guy a few points on the genius scale when I heard him say that. Communication plays a big role in how I view people's intelligence without my even noticing sometimes, and I think that holds true for a lot of people.

I have a question regarding Amadeus Cho, the "Smart Kid." He is supposed to be the 8th smartest person on the planet or something. And he does things like throw a pebble that takes out a soldier or throw a bullet and take out a missile. Does that mean everyone one ranked higher than him can do the same? Can Reed Richards stop a truck with a paperclip since he's ranked higher? Can Dr. Doom spit at a fighter plane and blow it up?

intelligence is always measured differently. while cho's skills may be in one specific region, others may possess an overall greater skill elsewhere...

I wasn't asking who is the smartest, i was asking if those that are "smarter" than Cho should be able to do his thowing thing. But you're right, I forgot about the stupid question thread.

Its Easy, you have a question and you forget that there is a thread to ask them at the top of the page .

Then you decide to post the question as a thread still not realizing that there is a thread and/or some people may think your question is stupid and should be in the stupid question thread. Then someone may take the time to point out other threads that your question could be in and in their opinion should be in rather than simply ignoring your post or answering the question.

The "stupid" part of the title is supposed to be ironic, not literal. It's supposed to be there for questions that can be answered in one or 2 posts and don't really require their own thread.

It DOES fit with some of the other threads that were started because of Amadeus Cho, or even in the WWH thread.

Anyway, should others be able to do it? I sure a hell would expect so. If Reed came up with a scientific system that allows him to predict the future somewhat in CW, I don't see why he couldn't do what Cho and Banner can do. Unless it IS Gammamath and not an application of high intelligence. In other words, following logic, should the higher ranked intelligent guys/gals be able to do it? Yes. Do we know for certain if they can? No. (Except maybe Reed)

Amadeus is a genius when it comes to stuff like engineering and genetics, but I get the impression he's not on the same level as someone like Reed or Hank Pym or Bruce.

His intelligence seems to mostly manifest like a billiards player's, only faster and more frequently accurate.
